Well worth the drive to visit this lovely place
Rented a car and drove to Bathsheba from St Lawrence Gap. But of a hair raising journey, as Google maps sent me on some pretty wild roads, but it was well worth it. Pretty little place with amazing scenery. Lovely little church and a nice bar/restaurant nearby. A mile walk (uphill) brings you to Andromeda Botanical Gardens.

A great place to relax for a picnic lunch
The views here are absolutely stunning. The natural formations leave you wondering how this magical scenery was created. The sound of the crashing waves was like thunder. I didn't see anybody in the water, but I would not be going in myself. Great place to relax, take photos and have a picnic.

    Magnificent beach view
We had a prperty across from the beach. Every day, we sat on the balcony and watched the tourists flow on tour buses and safaris between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. The views of the beach, ocean, and mushroom rocks are magnificent. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep each night. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Dina's was our favorite. It was across from where we were staying. Dina and her staff are so friendly and down to earth. The food was delicious, and the drinks were on point. I especially liked the rum punch. There are several places from which to take pictures of this beautiful beach.

    It’s the wild side.
We visit Bathsheba every time we come to Barbados. Wow those waves were marvellous and a few surfers were out trying to catch the good one. Such interesting scenery with swaying palm trees and unique rock formations and wild ocean.

Lovely beach to explore with beautiful scenery. Rougher waters so not great for swimming but worth the visit to see the views and eat at restaurant near by.

A must visit when on the east coast of the island, spectacular views of the coastline and crashing waves of the atlantic, swimming not recommended, but a surfers dream, cool breeze sweeps the air, the beach erosion of this particular area, has created some rock formations that is a wonder for many visitors, the ever popular mushroom rock is located here, you can find it on many things on the island from any gift or souvenir shops..from plates, mugs, coasters, calendars...its an artist canvas...Bathsheba is very picturesque the higher the elevation the better the photo.

This is the prettiest beach we saw on our tour of the island. The green grass against the thrashing waves of the blue Atlantic Ocean and the large rock boulders dotted along the coast makes the setting just gorgeous. I’m not sure if it would be safe swimming there because the ocean was really churning, but it’s worth a visit just for the beauty!
