This was an impromptu trip and not taken through any organized tours. It is so worth the drive. The views are gorgeous and we even got a few souvenirs and tried raw sugar cane and drank from a coconut. We also saw a monkey in the nearby trees.

The Atlantic side of the island is so different from the Caribbean, it really needs to be visited. The large rocks and empty beaches are a site to see.

We made a short car stop and a walk along the beach. Fantastic place with high rolling waves but the Coral rock formations are the real gem along this stretch. They stand improbably, imposingly, on tiny balance points. The waves are high and I am sure so are the currents but it was great to watch the surfers do their... More

We stayed at the nearby Atlantis Hotel (with pool) and loved the excitement of Bathsheba Beach. Looks great on photos but under current too dangerous to swim.

Lovely location, and we visit there every time at the Island for afternoon brunch etc.But cannot recommend for a paddle or swim! It is a windsurfers paradise with the strong warm winds but as the picture shows lots of surf.

Went to Bathsheba as part of a tour. This beach is not for swimmers but for surfers. The waves were pounding as a result of the Atlantic ocean meeting the Caribbean sea. It is very picturesque and have huge rock formations in the sea. There are picnic benches where you can sit and relax. We took lots of pictures. Again,... More

If you have a car this is a must see place. Enjoy the amazing views which can just take your breath away on a windy day. Park the car and go for a long walk, perfect end to the day.

Well worth visiting this east coast of Barbados. The beach was recommended to us by a local on the west coast, to let us see a very different view of the island. This beach is wild and rugged and empty! A lovely walk, I was glad we made the effort to get out and about.

Stopped on an all too short break during an island tour. Spectacular coastline, both rugged and smooth. Very friendly locals. Worth a stop or detour on any trip.
