This beach offers spectacular views of the island, but watch out if you want to go swimming - strong undercurrents can make swimming here dangerous.

Only stopped here for about 45 minutes small peaceful seaside town with stunning views of rocks that have been shaped by the Atlantic waves

If you like to see the island you are visiting, this is a great stop. We spent about an hour here just walking around, taking in the sites and seeing a few surfers.

Spent a few hours here while touring the east coast sights. Well worth it, I've not seen rock formations in the sea like that anywhere. Well worth the visit for the stunning natural beauty.

It's a wild surf beach that is beautiful. The waves have pounded the coast is a stunning rock formations. Hating the surfers is fun. but this it not a swimming beach.

Great place for just walking on the beach and exploring the rock pools (when the tide's out!). Far less populated than the West Coast but the sand is just as fine and the water almost as warm. However, the sea is a lot rougher so...More

Wonderful warm water pools in between the atlantic rollers and the sandy beach - perfect for little people! our 1 yr old loved being in the pools, we loved a bite to eat at the round house!

Beautiful beach but lots and lots of seaweed, not good for swimming at all as it is very rough. You can watch the surfers and there cool looking rocks are everywhere.

Isolated, beautiful beach. I would give it 5 stars, except it is so gar away that the drive out there didn't seem worth the incredible beauty of the place. Truly lovely though. Nothing commercial around except a few BNB's.

This place was off the beaten track but we visited it twice as we found it was a great place to have a picnic - either on the grass bank overlooking the mushroom rocks or on the picnic tables by the bar which is well...More

Called in here after a trip to Harrison's Cave. Great photo opportunity and well worth the journey. Must be a great spot during the surfing competitions. Magnificent waves from the Atlantic.

By taxi, about an hour. Negotiate a deal to have a taxi take you around and wait. If you have lunch at Atlantis hotel, the restaurant provides lunch for driver. I think the drive can be around $70 USD. There are van... More
