It is lovely to find a place where the staff enjoy going to work. This is a micro brewery is a wonderful find in East Lothian. The enthusiasim of the staff really does give this establishment the edge. Knops Beer Company was born out of a desire to explore the rich heritage and variety that beer has to offer and to brew beers that can appeal to all levels, from the experienced ale drinker to those who have never been lucky enough to discover the range and depth of this vibrant category. Full marks for what you built and good luck to all that you will achieve in the future.

Six of us visited this brewery recently. All are very interested in brewing and enjoyed the detailed description of the brewing process and observations on the current state of UK real ale production and its market. It was great that Keith (sorry if I picked the name up wrong) was the brewer not a tour guide because he was so committed to his vocation and keen to share information. This is not a glitzy tour culminating in sinking free pints, it's a genuine insight into the process. The setting in a country house estate is also delightful. First class.

I am always in support of microbrews. There isn't enough of them. This is a cracking little one. I will be sampling the makings of this wee gem for some time.
