Had a fantastic round here at the end of March. At a time when my home course was a bog, the drainage up on this moorland course was excellent and ground was firm. Great views on the course and out of the clubhouse. Pro and barstaff very welcoming, would definitely come back.

Loved it once again, we do an annual visit to this lovely course. They had snow on the 6th May, so considering this the course was in excellent condition. Made very welcome by staff in clubhouse and Pro Shop. Sun was kind to us on the day. Great time was had by our whole group.

Entered as advertised a mixed greensome stableford with another couple - played the course - greens slow and bumpy - came in to find it was a greensome medal - emailed secretary- no reply - poor communication

I have recently taken out Social Membership at West Linton Golf Club. I'm not a golfer, but I took out the membership in order to enjoy the dining facilities with family and friends. Lovely welcoming and helpful staff. Really good reasonably priced food, backed up by assorted daily specials. Absolutely stunning views.

We are not golfers but family members had recommended we try the gold club for dinner.
It was excellent.
All of the staff we friendly & helpful & the view from the window is stunning!
We had three courses each, no complaints about the food at all, was excellent.
Would definetly recommend.

If you are a social member of the club, or know someone who is, you can have access to the club's comfy club house, a bright and airy place with wonderful views to Mendick Hill and surrounding hills and moorland, even if you're not playing golf at the course. The food is excellent, with some interesting daily specials, and very friendly and efficient service. A great option for lunch or early dinner in West Linton.

We had a wonderful day of golf as part of our tour of clubs near Peebles. Well received at West Linton and a good round on a very challenging course. The weather was not to kind at the start of the round with a lot of rain and wind but all in all very enjoyable

I play this course with a group of friends each year and it is a superb value for money course only about 30 minutes from the links courses in East Lothian. Well worth a visit, greens are excellent and the course is a good test of your skills for all levels of golfers. finishes with 2 tough par 3's one of which will be against the wind. If it's the 18th it will be tough to reach!

I would just like to take a moment to say a big thank you and well done to Mark, Kay and staff for a recent Saturday night.
We attended an 80th birthday party and were very impressed by the quality of the food and service provided by all the bar and catering staff.
This added to a very enjoyable evening in an impressive clubhouse.

responsibly priced, friendly, not too busy and was a Sat., pre-booked. Very nice course. Challenging but fun. Decent restaurant with sports on as we ate. Recommend it!
