It's the most amazing place to go into because it always smells like yummy. The classes are fabulous. The receipes are always provided so you can add the tips the chef tells you to be able to recreate the receipe at home. There are also lots of fun things there, like silly napkins, or wine stoppers, or the neatest gadgets.... More

If you want to be entertained and learn something about foods while you enjoy a coffee or glass of wine, sign on for a powerful cooking class at Kitchenique. Viki McCain, the director of the school, teaches most of the classes, and she is both entertaining and informative as she steps you through, and allows you to try recipes from... More

Tonight I had the absolute pleasure of attending a cooking class at Kitchenique. It was delicious food, good company, pleasant staff, and great fun. Chef Phillip McDonald taught the class, which was based on gulf coast cuisine: oysters and royal red shrimp. DELICIOUS. Owner Vicki McCain was also there to lend her expansive knowledge and expertise whenever anyone had any... More

Vicki runs a great business---the store has many interesting and unusual items. We have been to many cooking classes at Kitchenique and have never been disappointed. She carries some excellent wines at good prices. There are usually at least 4 wines available for purchase by the glass during the cooking classes, so you can try them out. It's a fun,... More

Wow, great store and cooking classes. From cooking stuff to gourmet jams, spreads, infused oil and herbs to informative and enjoyable cooking classes from some of the best chefs in the area. You get a variety of cooking classes and can even volunteer ot help the chefs during the class (I've volunteered for the classes a lot and love the... More

If you enjoy shopping in kitchen stores to see what's new and improved this is the place. I hope to be able to take a cooking class in the future. The menu's and chef's sound great and I'm sure they would be a lot of fun. This store has been in Destin for a number of years and every time... More

60+ husband, 37 yo daughter, and typical 13 yo grandson attended class on knife use and care, and months later still talk about how interesting and fun it was. I shop there for unusual gifts and answers to food questions. The store is easier to find in the new location, closer to the Mid-Bay Bridge. The staff mambers were very... More

I recently attended a cooking session and it was well organized, well attended, reasonably priced and overall just a great time. I would recommend this for "foodies" and "non-foodies" alike. No experience necessary, just have to show up with your appetite and have fun! I want to attend another class soon!

If you've got the time...cooking class at Kitchenique is a must! It's entertaining and simply delicious regardless of who's in the kitchen. Personally, cooking with Vickie, the shop owner, is my favorite pick. Not so much time? Kitchenique also offers lots of unique speciality cooking items...from spices and wine to utensils and small appliances. It's a COOL stop after a... More
