What a great way to explore the world of street food and drinks with friends and an energetic and knowledgeable local guide. We tried various food stalls and we were not disappointed in the variety and tastes provided. I feel more confident on trying this areas street offerings in the future. Cheers

Booked and joined the tour spontaneously on the same day. Went to at least 6 different spots for unique local food and beverages. Got to see a lot of the Yogya nightlife and had great finish of the evening with the neon cars. All in all highly recommended.

I was visiting Yogyakarta for four days over the New Year holiday, and I cannot recommend it more (as a traveling chef and tourist) and a chance to view how others celebrate this moment in the year. Before arriving, I booked this food/culture tour to experience the street food and nightlife as it could be quite daunting to just throw yourself at whatever and become disappointed. My experience definitely didn’t disappoint. I had the privilege of being with Malika who took me to some of her favorite eating spots and outdoor activities and why. Despite the rain being on and off while we shuttled around, I had a spectacular time. Malika provided cultural insights and a history lesson when walking through the area, and offered up her “not to miss” recommendations which were delicious. Overall, I had an amazing time and think that many travel destinations should incorporate food/culture tours like this one so travelers don’t miss out on something incredibly special. Couldn’t recommend this enough. Terima kasih!

We visited 6 restaurants which including deserts. I could never picked any one of the restaurant by myself, especially a "special tea" place. One suggestion. We had a sweet street food for our second stop, but I would rather to have that sweets with the special tea or at desserts. Overall, I would recommend this tour to explore Jyogja and Jawan foods.

We booked the trip in the morning and communication was really good, company went ahead with the tour despite rain and only two of us for the evening. Our guide was really patient and we tried many things which were not even part of the tour. It was just not a food tour but an overall experience and we really enjoyed it.
