We went to visit this wonderful sculpture park today. As my husband is registered blind and has very minimal sight, the host Karen offered to take us around. She generously gave us her time and drove us to the various sculptures explaining the background to them.
This is a superb addition to Scottish Art allowing people to wander freely in the stunning grounds for a very reasonable £5.
I cannot recommend it enough, and I will certainly return next year.
Thank you Karen.

We were staying 5mins away in Colintraive and thought why not visit. It’s amazing the location is great you walk around the grounds of a magnificent mansion and there is sculpture everywhere- you can also buy some. Kids aged 9 and 13 loved it which surprised us , take lunch and sit by the sea it’s in a stunning location

Interesting visit, a bit disappointed there were not so many exhibits as previously, a plus point is that there are now toilets in the house, maybe more visitors would be attracted if teas etc were laid on at weekends.

We were staying within a few miles and it seemed a place to check out.
Wow.... Rang to ask opening hours to be ' greeted' by the most surly, miserable man imaginable!
Not open, he snapped, read the website properly!
I said the site was slightly ambiguous, hence I was ringing to clarify. Grumble, mutter, grumble came down the phone.
Apparently, they're closed for nine months of the year, makes you wonder how they ever sell any of the sculptures!
Also note, when they are open.... they have a minimum card payment of £20 so take cash, not that we'd bother going, given his terrible attitude.

The sculpture park is set in beautiful grounds with wonderful trees,
around a magnificent (but private) house. The sculptures are scattered around the grounds and are all very interesting, and all for sale. The view from the shore is glorious and the sculptures are mixture of very abstract and very realistic. It was a very different place and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was such a stunning experience. A remarkable view of the Kyles of Bute and a collection of sculptures nestling in all sorts of unexpected places in such a gorgeous setting. It was a real privilege to wander freely through the landscape and wonder what you were going to see next.

On arriving it is hard not be overly nosey about the house, the stained glass in the entrance hall is most unusual and very beautiful. Our greeting was friendly and informative and set a lovely tone for our visit.
There is no formal route around the garden so it is a little like exploring the unknown. There is lots to see in the garden and the grounds give one a reasonable walk. The vistas are amazing and that alone was worth the entrance fee.
Overall we were very pleasantly surprised at how big the exhibition was and how varied the whole garden was.
I look forward to returning again.

I love this place. It has a magical setting on the Cowal peninsula, and has a changing collection of stimulating and creative art works in a wonderful coastal garden setting overlooking the Kyles of Bute. Well done for such great imagination and style. I look forward to my next visit

We went here on a truly miserable day. Put on our kagools, waterproofs and with umbrella we wandered throughout the park. Truly amazing and in such a beautiful location. Well worth a detour.

Interesting morning looking around and finding the sculptures - a bit random and Archie biting at the lead to be let off. Cannot make my mind up about the place, was nice getting to see, but a must see exhibition I doubt.
