We were on La Regina Royal, the cruise ship is very nice with beautiful super comfortable rooms and a spacious deck. The bay itself is crowded with other visitors who follow more or less the same itinerary no matter which cruise or how many stars. The best part was sipping drinks on the deck during happy hour while we watch the amazing sunset views. Needless to say, the staff were very nice and responsive, especially Alex our trip guide. Make sure when you book the trip, you get the number of your trip guide and they have your number so that you can locate each other on arrival at the port station.

Ship was clean and with good facilities. The service crew and Manager Duy provided good service and was very clear with the itinerary and plans throughout the cruise period.
Overall a good stay. Highly recommended to experience Ha Long Bay.

What an experience!!! Where do I even begin? Starting off with being greeted by the friendliest staff ever, Nick…being Nick and making us laugh every moment we interacted with him. Then the boat itself is well equipped with everting one could need.. from a Jacuzzi to a karaoke machine. You can’t go wrong with this tour.
The best part being the heavenly views you are presented with while soaking up the tranquility of the beautiful waters and mountains, especially at night.
Do not hesitate to book with La Regina.

What a disaster ! The all journey is about waiting , nothing come up on time , they delayed everything, but whenever you are having fun during an activity they are in a hurry ! My family baggage got lost , so we had to look for it in the all boat because the staff had no idea where it was , after that we had to bring them up ourself to our room, very poor service for a “luxury cruise”
Then unfortunately we had a big group on the journey with us , extremely loud during the all dinner , they were talking on the microphone so my family and myself couldn’t have a conversation when we are suppose to have a good time , after half an hour the manager finally asked the group to be more quiet ( when we were being served desert) . My dad also fall of on the floor of the boat because it had rain but no one care cleaning it up , luckily he didn’t hurt himself.
Last thing to say , we paid for 2 days one night but what you really get is 20 hours in the baie d halong because you get on it around 1 o clock the first day and you leave the next day at 10 o clock . Even if the staff was very friendly I do not recommend “Regina cruise” really was the worst experience in Vietnam .

We had a great time on La Regina Legend cruise. We chose the 3 day, 2 night trip and our room was spacious and bright with a lovely balcony looking out at the amazing views of Halong Bay. The staff on board were fantastic, in particular we’d like to mention Hao and Le who were excellent. Hao and Le were attentive, friendly and helpful throughout the trip.
The scenery of Halong Bay is beautiful - we especially enjoyed kayaking on day 1 around the Bright and Dark caves. We also enjoyed visiting a cave on day 3. Food was very good and the itinerary was well organised.
Squid fishing was fun and the cocktails made during Happy Hour were great.
Despite giving the trip 5 stars overall, we feel the day 2 village trip could be improved. The tour guide was quite disengaged and we later found out that many parts of the trip had been missed out. We also felt that more drinks could have been provided on this activity (only 1 bottle of water was given pp for the whole day).
That said, the rest of the staff team were incredibly helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall.

I loved the cruise itinerary and the hospitality was extremely nice and friendly. Food options was good and cabin is commendable. Would appreciate if the prices for extra beverages and water could be given in advance as many assume it's part of all-inclusive meal. Would recommend to anyone planning visit halong bay :)

Very professional and fun cruise. Lot of great activities planned and not too packed. Recommend this cruise.
Nick was our tour guide and he was the best! Engaging and really funny. He entertains kids as well and constantly around everyone catering to their needs and making conversations. Regina cruise is better with him.
Also Alice is a sweet and very helpful staff on the boat.

Courteous and excellent staff, very hospitable.
Well planned activities at the cruise, rooms are well kept with stunning views.
Patrick and Sam were exceptionally caring in arranging for vegetarian food with no egg and made us feel thoroughly comfortable.

The cruise was amazing, most definitely an experience of a life time. The only thing I would change would be the duration, I wish I stayed longer. The food was amazing and the chef was able to cater to a lot of different preferences. The staff were super funny and lovely. Patrick showed us great technique for the squid fishing and I was even able to catch one! He always had a smile and greeted everyone with warmth, an absolute legend. Daisy was also an amazing host, her jokes and bright smile had all the guests laughing and happy. These two hosts in particular, made me feel a great sense of intimacy in a way that made them feel like old friends. I felt at ease and had so much fun with both. I would chose Là Regena again given the chance.

5/5, La Regina cruises offers the most entertaining trip to Halong Bay. All rooms have balconies and are tastefully decorated. Spa / jacuzzi is also good. Bo is particularly great with massage.
Only one suggestion, they should offer water to guests during meals complimentary on the table .

The staff is so friendly. Sailors always remind guests to wear life jackets. Managers and staff are always ready to welcome at the door whenever visitors leave, the food is delicious and eye catching. and Mr Son and Mr Nghia, 2 friends who help and take care of us are very dedicated. I had great time and lots of memories in La Regina Cruise
