Visited the Fishbourne Steam Railway as part of a Great Little Trains of Wales holiday, this was one of 10 visited. The Fishbourne is different to all the other nine, in that it isn't just a narrow gauge railway, but the locomotives are half size...More

Riding this train is a bit like one at a zoo or other kids train but, in fact, it is a proper method of travel. Great to ride by along the coast and, once at the end, to board the little ferry boats to Barmouth.

A wonderful attraction that has special event days. We visited at Halloween and it was lovely for kids. The staff are friendly and it’s not too expensive to travel either. A good family day out.

Friendly staff, nice fun ride along the front with good views of the mountains and the sea. Worth a trip on the ferry back to Barmouth as well.

Love this little railway and it's tie up with the Barmouth ferry makes it extra special. You can really get up close to the engines which my son loved and the staff are very friendly

After the initial shock of paying £9.90per person return, which, fair enough, must go towards maintenance to keep the railway open, we settled back in the tiny carriages to enjoy a scenic trip across the estuary towards Barmouth. We then alighted to get a ferry...More

Despite coming to Wales on holiday many times, we have always put off visiting this little railway, assuming there would not be much to it. We finally put that right this time, and I am glad we did! You can park in a very nearby...More

Lovely little steam railway which myself, my mum and my five year old twins loved. I also remember going on this railway when I was my twins age! It’s run by volunteers and then you can stop at the end by the estuary for a...More
