Wow what an amazing place, very neat and tidy, beautiful ruins with plenty to see, and also listen to the comment sections about telling the history of the Abbey, and the fact this was absolutely free to go in

Interesting place to visit situated in a hidden part on Neath, between an industrial estate and Tesco superstore. When you come across it, you find its location peaceful and unspoilt, next to the River Neath and Tennant Canal. The ruined abbey still encompasses what life was like for the Cistercian monks. It also includes the ruins of a Tudor house built using the masonry from the Abbey after the Reformation of that period. Some useful devices dotted around the ruins give you a brief overview of different parts of the ruins. Free entry. Worth a visit.

I go there regularly, what a beautiful and atmospheric place, just love it. One of the best examples monastic remains in the country.
Well worth a visit. Good walks along the canal at the side of the monastery.

The abbey is a large site, and features a stylish manor house that is under renovation but fits into the landscape, whilst there are is one information board there are metal tubes around the site that supply a great deal of information in Welsh and English. Good photographic images can be taken.

Great abbey full of history and so much to photograph. Well worth a visit. Needs money to maintain the building such a shame.

Incredible place local to me with loads of history. I would recommend a visit but it's just a shame that more money hasn't been invested in this place, especially when you consider its historical significance.

Good hour out for free if you have an interest in old structures and buildings. One improvement could be to add more information around the property to tell you about each area.
