Off the beaten trail

This beach is an out-of-the-way gem. We found it by accident, driving down the narrow, winding road from Alma to Cape Enrage. It is not well-known or touristy, which is just fine. It's just a beach, with a parking lot and nothing else (except for beautiful scenery). Perfect place for some beach-combing or quiet time. Just kick back and enjoy.

Beautiful sands and great beach walking
Jul 2016
This is one of those places where the locals go. It's a little out of the way but well worth it. it's usualy not too busy so there's always plenty of beach to enjoy and when the tide is out there's so much more beach to explore. You have Sandy beaches off to one side and rocky coastline off to the other for those people that like one or the other when it comes to beaches.

Natural Beach
Jul 2016 • Family
This beach is basically a place to pull over and park and a natural beach to visit and walk. The views are beautiful and there were only a couple of folks there to share the miles of sand.

Beautiful, sprawling beach for walking and watching the tides
Aug 2015
Once spotting Waterside Beach en route we had to get out to explore. The tide was almost out and the red rippled floor of the bay beckoned for a barefoot walk to the water. The sand was exposed as far as the eye could see which didn’t mean much until later in the evening when we drove back to find the high tide had covered everything! A spectacular example of the tides of Fundy.

Awesome

One of the most beautiful beaches in Canada. When the tide is out u can walk for miles. Very few people and even fewer dogs. If u time it right u can walk all the way to Cape Enrage. Leave Waterside one hour before low tide and be back one hour after low tide. Do NOT mess with the tides. A little chilly for swimming but doable on a rising tide on a sunny day when the sand warms the incoming tide.

We love the waterside beach. There is amble parking. This is a fairly clean beach, with amazing tides! When the tide is out, you can walk for what seems like forever before you reach the water. Wonderful place.
