Nice view to see once!
Jan 2021
Drove to Cape Enrage as it had been recommended to us.
It is approximatively 21 km from the town of Alma.
The road to it is a bumpy country road. Consequently it is a slow drive through woods, marches and fields. It is a beautiful country drive.
We 1st arrived at a rocked beach where some folks were walking, fishing and enjoying a small fire. We then drove up the mountain to the viewing area. Beautiful views.
Not certain we'd take the ride there again.

It's closed!

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is no warning at the bottom and the road up there is quite treacherous with potholes and lots of twists and turns. The view from the top is beautiful, but we were disappointed that the lighthouse and arestsurant were closed because of Covid.

Beautiful view
Jul 2020
Even though the activities and buildings are closed this season, there is a fabulous view from Cape Enrage. The road to it is not for the faint of heart - very steep and narrow in spots , and in poor condition as of July 20th. The good news is it is under construction with new guardrails installed. Hoping that the road will be resurfaced this season also. It was by far the worst stretch of road we drove on our Sussex - Fundy Park - Hillsborough route.

Best experienced on a sunny day
Aug 2019
Cape Enrage was on the top of our to-do list the last time my family and I visited the Fundy/Alma area. Unfortunately, our visit was dampered by drizzle and heavy fog so when we arrived to the pebble beach our view was quite restricted.

We did the zip-lining package that same day and we had a great time even with the less-than-ideal weather. The staff were very knowledgable and fun to be around and zip-lining felt like a really personal experience. The zip-line wasn't the longest I've ever been on but it was unique to feel like you were soaring over the open water and I'm sure the view on a sunny day would be incredible.

Naturally beautiful
Jun 2020 • Couples
The top area was closed so we spent an hour or so on the pebble beach. Not many people were there so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our doggo had a great time chasing his frisbee, and we collected a few rocks. Beautiful spot...

Pretty View Spot
Sep 2019
Our first stop in New Brunswick was Cape Enrage along the Bay of Fundy, one of the Marine Wonders of the World with tides riding 53 feet over a 12-hour period twice a day. Cape Enrage offers views of this tidal phenomenon from its cliffs.

We headed down to the view the lower area that is only accessible at certain times. There were plenty of little tide pools with snails and other small sea life. You could see the seaweed on the rocks where the water would eventually cover.

Great views, interesting walk to the lighthouse, other amenities on site to round-out the trip
Oct 2019
Being from the prairies, we wanted to see lighthouses, and decided to make our way to Cape Enrage. The road there is not an attraction - it is quite pot-holey, and windy, but in the end, worth the effort, with patience and time. The lighthouse is lovely, and the views are what you'd expect from a lighthouse, expansive, stunning. To note: the trail to it is not a four-lane highway, it's a bit rocky and uneven, not high-heel or stroller friendly. But the added bonus here is that they have a fabulous restaurant, and even a zip-line during the season. We were there early October, the zip-line closed, but the restaurant open, serving delicious food. If you're in the area: Go!

Cape Enrage offers adventure during summer season, the zip wire was closed when we visited late September. The restaurant was open, lovely views and good food.

Beautiful View
Sep 2019
We like lighthouses and we wanted to see this one and the view. It's a little off the beaten track and very pricey in my opinion. There was a parking area just before you get to the gate...they have blocked it off so people have to pay to come in to get a picture of the lighthouse. They have a restaurant and a gift shop...we only wandered through the gift shop. It had a few very nice things made by local artist. That was a find. All in all we only spent about 30 minutes here.

Beautiful scenery
Aug 2019 • Couples
Cape Enrage has some beautiful views of the scenery and coastline. There is a small lighthouse there as well ziplines, restaurant and gift shop on site. Not sure if Cape Enrage was worth the admission cost as admission is 6 dollars per person. The scenery is nice, the lighthouse is small and not open to the public and nothing exciting. We didnt eat at the restaurant so cant comment on it. Its a bit of a winding drive to find Cape Enrage but you pass a rocky beach on the way there that is worth a stop.
