This fantastic underwater cave was used in the filming of two James Bond movies and is a must-see for divers and snorkelers.

Great snorkeling. The grotto is unique and cool to swim through and explore plus Jame Bond was filmed there. A lot of fish are able to be seen. You can walk up to the top and jump about 35 feet down from a hole in...More

What can be said apart from: Take a camera. Yes that really the entrance. No it's never too rough, a good current helps with the exit! Take a deep breath and dive a bit to exit to the daylight! Well worth a visit!

On our way back to Staniel Cay we stopped at Thunderball Grotto. This attraction doesn't look like much more than a rock when your boat first pulls up. But once you swim into the opening you can see the beauty of this rock. Our kids...More

See if you can go when there are not many people there. We went once when there were about 20 people there. It was hectic. Much better when we went and there were only 2 other people there. We could appreciate the beauty with fewer...More

This one of our first stops on our tour of the day! I was a bit nervous at first knowing I would have to dive down to go inside but it's just like diving down in a swimming pool and going under a person ....More

Try and avoid the crowds but if you are lucky enough to get this place to yourself it is magic. Beautiful snorkeling and incredible light coming in through the top of the cave. Well worth a trip!!!

Thunderball Grotto is one of the coolest snorkeling experiences you can have. Find out when slack tide is, finagle a boat, make sure it's anchored up really good, dive in and enjoy. There's two entrances, one on the north side of the little rock island,...More

It was included in our itinerary for the day so passing on this would not make sense - let me warn you though; the currents around the grotto and inside while exiting are super strong, do wear fins! and also if you aren't a good...More

This is a beautiful experience. I consider myself a good swimmer. You must go at low or slack tide. The current is strong. I would recommend fins. Many in our party could not make it in even in low tide. But once in the grotto...More

We were taken here by 4C's Adventures, who are one of the best companies to do these kind of tours with. Its definitely a unique experience swimming through the caves to get to the Thunderball Grotto, the current is kind of strong sometimes but for...More

The tour should definitely be able to point out the easiest path in, but it's quite visible. It is on the far side of the grotto from the Yacht Club (this will make more sense when you are there!). You shouldn't have any... More
