About
We are Reef Oasis Dive Club, an international 5 Star PADI diving center. We are operating in Grand Bahamas, Egypt(Sharm el Sheikh) and Dominican Republic. We offer PADI dive courses from beginner to pro, diving to several spots and snorkeling trips. Our specialty are Special Shark Dives with Tiger Sharks and Caribbean Reef Sharks with Shark Trainer. We even have dive courses for children. For those who never dived before we have every day a free trial dive in the pool. This way you learn the beginning skills from diving and you get used to the equipment. Who would like to try Scuba diving in the Ocean can start the Discovery Scuba Diving Course. If you like it you can continue to become a PADI Scuba Diver or a PADI Open Water Diver. Excellent reefs, wrecks and wall dives, diving from boats, waste no more time before experiencing the beauty and freedom of the weightless floating underwater.

A great dive shop that launched me on my first dives since the pandemic

I did two days of diving with Reef Oasis Dive Club, which is housed in the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach resort, in which I was staying for 10 days to celebrate my birthday.

The last time I went diving was just before the pandemic, in November 2019, wherein I dove in The Bahamas. I'm glad that my first time diving afterwards was also in The Bahamas, with this resort.

Even though I've done over 200 dives, they explained to me that, since I hadn't dove in over a year, that I needed to do a refresher in the pool. After that, I was able to go on several boat dives. I did as many dives as the weather permitted (rough weather prevented as many dives as I would have liked).

I found the divemasters and the boat captains to be very competent and friendly. My dives proved to be uniformly excellent and enjoyable. A highlight was experiencing Caribbean reef sharks swimming right towards me and by me.

This dive shop was quite professional, safety-focused, and intent on providing a great experience to its guests. I highly recommend it.

Top Notch Dive Outfit

We dove three sites while in Freeport, with the 5 Star PADI Reef Oasis Dive Club. We are PADI certified divers for a number of years, so our goal was to explore what Grand Bahama had to offer in the way of diving. Peterson Cay National Park dive site was a highlight.

Michael, and his team, at the Reef Oasis Dive Club are professional, thorough, responsive, and conscientious.

Luca was our dive master for all 3 of our dives. He is positive, helpful, knowledgeable.

Captain Basil, dive boat captain, is a rock solid, very attentive professional. Many thanks for his assistance before, during and after the dive.

There are opportunities to discover scuba for those new to it & more advanced training should you be interested. Reasonable prices for dives & equipment rental (full kit, good condition, which we needed).

My two daughters and I did pool and reef dives with Michael, Emilie and CJ and they were amazing! They were very patient and thorough and made us feel very comfortable. The reef was also healthy with a great variety of marine life. I highly recommend this dive shop.

Unethical dive Center

This dive center has ethical issues. I purchased a dive package prior to arrival. They canceled my dives telling me there was not enough divers for the boat to go out. Only to find out the next day, they booked the boat out with new divers who were paying a higher rate.

Enjoying dive life

The Vyva Wyndham in Freeport is not worth mentioning, but the people in your dive center are amazing! I was a bit unlucky with the weather and could only do a couple of dives. But these were great! It was very well organized, very relaxing and the dive crew even helped me with my hotel issues. I always felt welcome and had nice chats. To sum it up: I enjoyed it a lot!

Great dive tour

Awesome reef dive. We were on the Margaritaville at Sea cruise and had a day pass at the Viva Wyndham resort. The resort has a great buffet and included an open bar. The dive was at Rainbow Reef which was aptly named with all the color and sealife. The dive shop offers multiple day dives and we will definitely be back to dive more of the Grand Bahamas with Viva Oasis Dive Club.

Excellent service and dive site selection. Michael,Audrey, Caesar, Basil and team were really helpful. They provided such great support and were very professional. Highly highly recommend the Shark Dive and the Night Dive - they were both WOW.

Great diving in Freeport, Grand Bahama

Great diving in Freeport. My daughter took the PADI advanced scuba diving course and was perfectly taken care of by Emilie.Good organization in an relaxed atmosphere. The whole team is very committed and available. Shark dive with Micheal was an exceptional experience. To be noted that sharks are not baited which makes this dive ethically irreproachable.

Myself and my 11 yr old daughter had our first dive and where taken to Rainbow reef and had an amazing time, great instructor Emilee was brilliant.
Definitely would recommend.
