It's always entertaining to see the various types of boats. It's great that you can walk on the docks and get an up close view. The boats have their own name and where they are from. Can't imagine what they cost!??

We were here in January and was shocked at the amount of ill repair to the docks. Many metal beams were corroded and it looked unsafe in several public areas.

I know the hurricans are not helpful to the economy to GBI but I think a lot of businesses are just closing because of the economy. I love this island and feel very sad. What is open though is still good. And music on the weekends is great to listen to.

We were directed to dock on C dock by harbor master. All seemed well until a center console fishing boat docked next to us. They insisted on having the volume of their music so loud that the bass vibrated the doors of our motor yacht. They went to dinner about the same time the entertainment started on shore. It continued... More

If the beach is far away, the Marina would be a great view. The board walk is very short and apparently not well maintained.

Sit down on the jetty and watch the world just drift by. We loved to take a picnic and enjoy the views of the marina and take in the life.

All of the booths had the same touristy items. You were pulled into each booth but none had anything new or unique

My kids and myself loved looking at the marina especially with the local band playing behind us. And watching the fish swim below us and the neatly painted picnic tables. Just a little peace of heaven surrounded by shops

friendly people BUT BEWARE of the people who offer free gifts, money, etc to buy resort memberships or timeshares. They will keep you ALL day and wont let you leave because 'transportation' hasn't come back yet.

My friend & I went to The Bahamas for some sun & relaxation & that's exactly what we got. We went on this tour at the last minute & I'm glad we did. The tour was fabulous, the captain & crew were entertaining & we got to see the beautiful ocean & fish. The view through the glass bottom was... More
