We did the Paradise Cove Day Pass with transport from the cruise port in Freeport. Booked on bistro for $65 per person. The shuttle picked us up right outside the gate and it was a 20 minute ride. The driver gave us some history along the way and the ride was comfortable. Once we got there our day pass included... More

Booked through VIATOR, loved this location. It is our 2nd time visiting Barry Smith. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgable and patient with those of us that are afraid of the water. Booked a spear fishing excursion as well. It was so much fun.

TLDR & Tips: Great excursion! Friendly staff. Rent an umbrella. Try the fresh mango daiquiri. Use the belt flotation. Put sunscreen on your back and back of legs frequently! Relax & enjoy yourself. I'm so glad that we booked this excursion! I would absolutely recommend it. I'm trying to think of some "cons," but I feel that, for the most... More

I'm not experienced in snorkeling so I wouldn't know what "great snorkeling" is. But I can say for sure that the dead mans reef offers very nice close encounters with many tropical fish, sea turtles and of course corals. Very interesting. The beach is not special compared to what Bahamas can offer, but the outfitters shack was quite good. They... More

This is a tough one. I expected more, but still had a good day. Paradise Cove is about an hour drive from our cruise ship. The beach was ok, not nearly as beautiful as Nassau's beaches. The whole trip seemed disorganized with multiple lines to stand in to get checked in, get snorkeling gear, get your drink, get your food.... More

We booked this excursion well in advanced and called the day before to confirm. We were to be picked up at 9:15am from our hotel, when they didn't show up we called at 9:35, after blaming the tour co., the cruise lines and then us, saying we never confirmed, they promised to send a driver to pick us up right... Went to spend a lazy morning with family of 5 - from Port Lucaya it's around 35 mins drive. Very relaxed and friendly staff - facilities include lockers, changing rooms, toilets, bar serving drinks, snacks and basic burger/chicken wings and fries food, sun loungers and umbrellas. Open air showers to rinse off with. Do not go if you want luxury... More

This place is beautiful and amazing. Worth every penny we spent. We saw manta ray, turtles and lots of fish. Wish I could have stayed at the two rental houses there!!

I have been to Paradise Cove twice for snorkeling and love it every time. I will always go there when I am in Freeport Bahamas. The customer service is professional, warm, and welcoming. The resort is secluded and absolutely beautiful!!! There are several water fun options besides snorkeling to enjoy. They also provide great food and refreshing drinks. I love... More
