Good entertainment and lots if shops around. Night life is good as the hotel just offers animation shows which are basic.

buildings in great need of repair being done. Only fabulous thing were the large curly tailed lizards roaming around, not seen at the resort

It was great to stop and watch and listen to the bands after shopping at the Straw Market. Especially since Lighthouse Pointe offered very little entertainment. There was nightly entertainment here and a great variety of bars and restaurants to choose from.

This is the first stop when you exit your cruise ship. There are plenty of little shops most of the merchandise is the same stuff over and over. There are a few food shacks that cook various meals / snacks. all seem to have fair to high price items. There is a small stage that a local band plays at... More

There are lots of places to eat and shop for visitors. I liked both the high end places which made us feel welcome even though we were on a budget and the straw market vendors were never pushy either. I made purchases at both ends of the spectrum and felt the value was good. Most of the market is clean... More

I went there every day from my hotel to the pier. Nice place, colorful and cosy. Nice people too, no hassle.

Last night was a total disappointment when it comes to the music being provided by the band at the square. Their music was terrible and the gaps between each number was far too long for a professional act. They were far too old and not in touch with their audience. Time to improve the quality of the bands. Please!

There are usually activities in the square. Surrounded by bars with cheap drinks. They used to have dancers and fire breathers at nights, but as of late we traveled there during the day.
