fun to visit

I really like this visit for one day for the family. Interesting facts, and things to see and learn about the islands.

The Garden is very relaxing as you can take your time enjoying all the plants, birds, and other wildlife.

This is a peaceful place. Interesting to learn about the Groves who basically founded Freeport and made the island what it is. It's a lovely garden. Easy to walk. There is a chapel and 3 or 4 small souvenir stands with medicinal herbs, honey, books and the usual. But low key and the owners are helpful. No animals just ducks.... More

My Family and I Love this place. We visit here about 4 times in the year. If you Love the out doors this the spot the trees, the smell of all of them coming together; the birds. You need to try this spot there it's a walk. Come and see!! You will Love it just like I do.

I was hoping to see more flowers, but because it was December there were not many flowers in bloom. There were not many birds either!

Not much there and I am a plant enthusiast. Maybe just not the right time of year for good foliage. Extremely expensive. On a positive note, the food in the cafe is very good and fresh.

We took advantage of free transportation and entry to Garden of the Groves on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the People to People Program. Not too many things were in bloom, but the variety of vegetation and overall ambience were delightful. The signage was useful, but not comprehensive. The bonus of island teas and a fashion show made... More

This is an excellent destination for a delightful walk, or a short tour showing the the flora of the Bahamas. There is a delightful chapel where some hold small weddings, a wonderful Labrynth, bridges over (man-made) streams, and plenty of fauna, including "take me home with you, I'm really a human in feathers - honest" ducks, to delight whilst walking.... Enjoyed walking around here for a few hours. Beautiful, serene and relaxing. Cafe is expensive so I wouldn't plan to eat there.
