My friends and I went to Tony Macaroni's thinking it was like a pasta place. WRONG!! This is THE coolest spot on the entire island and it's on Taino Beach which is really a great place to mix with locals and other tourists. Tony's has nothing to do with macaroni, it's a Conch Stand (we learned to pronounce it "cunk"... More

Beautiful white sands, calm crystal blue water. Off season is awesome...no fighting for chairs or beach front. Restaurant and bar on site! A++ just for that!

We visited Taino Beach as part of a day-long motorized bike tour. It was at least 100 degrees, but there were lots of families out having fun. The famous Tony Macaroni restaurant was closed for vacation, so our tour guides improvised by introducing us to a local fresh conch cart, where we all sampled delicious conch salad that he made... Taino has a lot of potential but is far from the marketplace or the busy street. Though if u love the beach, Taino is quiet, offers great lunch and has watersports too, at an extra charge.

The beach was very dirty...they need to clean it.The resort was ok, kind of old. The rooms that they show prospective buyers looked like they were form a magazine, beautiful.

Taino is a hidden beach in Grand Bahama..the water is beautiful with little debris and there is a rock formation near the north end. There is a small bar with drinks and a Buffett style food space near the kitchen. Food was great but drinks were extremely watered down.

We didn't go to the beach to swim, but for the Goombay Festival. The beach seemed pretty nice & well kept. No chairs or anything.

Fun local festival in July each year. Beach was very dirty and lots of trash, but it's a hot spot for dropins from cruise ships so that's not surprising.

We went yesterday w another couple. Stayed 5 hours. Rented loungechairs w an umbrella for 4$. Ate delicious bbq ribs and conch fritters. Huge plates w mac and cheese. Peas and rice. And potato salad for 23$ total. Enjoyed rum runner cocktails for 6$ a piece. Prices very fair. Beach not fancy. But water was crystal clear and picture perfect... More

We went to the Bahamas in the summer which was really a mistake and was so unbelievably hot we could barely stand it but it was a deal...so what can I say! It was a trip. We had use of Taino Hotel, their pool, restaurants and the beach. Needless to say it was very quiet because of the time of... More
