We disembarked our ship in Freeport (Freeport upon arrival is not a pretty island, the water is blue but there are many industrial buildings and fuel/oil tanks on asphalt parking lots with over growth of weeds however, once you get on the bus and ride about 12 minutes to the beach it's nice and clean and scenic. The drinks are... More

Stayed at our timeshare efficiency at the Marlin in Taino. Been ownerts for the last 11 years. Arrived around 6pm and our room was ready, Registration was fast and easy. Sorry to say that we are flabbergasted and have many concerns regarding our investment. It seems that the place has gone from good to worst. Apparently hurricane Matthew did a... More

We didn't see the beach at its best. There was work going on to restore the roads that were damaged by Hurricane Matthew. The beach was also trashed by a political rally from the night before. I've seen it looking better.

The beach was very beautiful and clean. There were activities on the beach such as banana boat, jet skis and a trampoline in the water. There was a lot of seaweed in the water but it did not take away from the beauty.

Recommended by one of our servers and it did not disappoint. The local vibe is exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet beach. There is a public bathroom which was nice and clean. Downside: there's quite a bit of glass on this beach. All in all it was great and I'd go back.

Potential to be a lovely beach. Unfortunately lots of broken glass on beach and trash. Pretty to walk on with shoes.

We visited this beach twice during the month of March. The first time there was a big party going on. Fun for the college students, but noisy and crowded (music, drinking, loud jetskis). Not what we were looking for. Second time we went back it was peaceful, lovely and relaxing. As a guest at the Pelican Bay Hotel, they let... More

There was a charge to enter this beach area, paddle boards, kayak boats were supposed to be included. Once we got inside they said it was too windy to use them. The chairs were extra, the picnic table was extra, the umbrella extra, shade extra! Water was not clear, lots of things floating in the water. We took a long... More

Taino beach has a large parking area. A small palyground is also available for the kids. Public toilet is available near the entrance. Ample trash bins are in place. The beach area is clean and well maintained. During Wednesday night, a weekly fish fry is held on the restaurants on near Taino Beach.
