I went there as part of a shore excursion while on a cruise. Since it was my first time in the Bahamas, my wife and I decided to pay the $10.USD per person for the return trip to this market place. While there were a few duty free bargains on jewelry, the place has a lot of souvenir items that... More

Great shops and restaurants. Definitely worth visiting. Bought some great jewellery and t-shirts. Feel free to barter with the stall sellers. They are ready and willing.

Great lttle shops to visit. Alot of jewellery stores. We went on a Sunday and about 1/3 of the shops were closed. Suggest going another day. Lots of restaurants. We visited Agave and had a very good meal.

It is a nice place to kill some time. We had a few hours to spend before our flight back to Miami and went to the market. It was a charming street with a lot of souvenir shops. Mainly with t shirts and bags. When we were there, there was not a lot of people.

The weather was a little chilly the day we went to Port Lucaya but we enjoyed the shops and connecting with the locals. There were very few people there as many of the ships aren't stopping at Grand Bahamas due to October hurricane and most of the hotels are in shambles at Port Lucaya. There are lots of restaurants in... More

Being as hurricane Matthew really damaged so much of the populated and tourist area, it was very quiet and I think maybe prices were higher than normal.
