Me and my partner had a great time on this tour when we visited Grand Bahama We got picked up and taken to a secluded beach where we were the only people there. We snorkelled 2 blue holes and also had a go on the Cayaks for the hole a little further out. Saw some lovely fish and a couple of star fish. Only thing I was dubious about was picking these up as I’ve heard they can die when taken out of water. Would avoid if I did this tour again. We did have a bit of a wait for the cayaks which was no fault of Rudy’s. there was a large funeral that day for a prominent figure on the island- and it appears that his colleagues were held up ferrying people to one of the Cays where the funeral was held. We weren’t fussed about this as we enjoyed walking along the beach and chilling out. Rudy is very knowledgeable about nature, in particular the birds on the island. My partner has particular interest in birds so this was good. He also gave us a history of the island in great detail which we really enjoyed. We picked up some lunch from a local restaurant on the west side which was lovely. Massive portions of fried snapper or conch, peas and rice, coleslaw etc I would definitely recommend to see the East side of the Island around McLeans town- it is a nice settlement and very different to Freeport Would recommend Rudy and would use again next time!

Thanks for a great day together, I enjoyed your company. It was my pleasure sharing my island with you, particularly the natural attributes of it so rich in the East. Looking forward to doing it again with you sometime in the future, and/or, with others you recommend to us. H. Rudy Sawyer

We spend a very good day at the crabbing Bay to see the blue holes. Rudy is a wonderful guide with a lot of knowledge about the history of grand Bahama and the Bahamas. It’s definitely the best tour we did ! The food was one of the best we tried in a week. We had the chance to see the most beautiful beach of the island ! Thank you so much. If you’re visiting Grand Bahama, you don’t want to miss this tour !

Thanks, it was a great tour for me, too in your company. Enjoyed the kayaking, snorkeling in the blueholes, seeing the varied marine life, the mangroves, and, of course, the authentic Bahamian lunch on my favourite beach on the island, Pelican Point beach. Hope to do this again with you sometime in the future, &/or with others you recommend to us. H. Rudy

WOW!! What a treat! Rudy is a Bahamian treasure. A wealth of knowledge of the local History, culture, ecology and wildlife. We were so fortunate to have had him all to ourselves. Gorgeous location, so serene and entrancing. Saw a dozen or more species of fish, stingrays, starfish, egrets, herons and even THE elusive Bald Eagle! Hands down, the BEST food we ate the whole week... YUM! If you get the opportunity, don't pass up a day with Rudy, you won't regret it!
