Amazing custom tour for our family of six!

Tyrone put together a custom 2-day tour for my family of six, including four children on the younger side. We had a great time! Tyrone was a great tour guide, with tons of experience and local knowledge and a great attitude and sense of humor. The lunch places he suggested were very good as well. We hit all the Nassau city highlights the first day and some out of the way stuff like the Clifton Heritage Park and bat cave the second day.

I considered a number of tour guides with good reviews and Tyrone had the best combination of good and fast communication and a reasonable price. I highly recommend him for your Bahamas tour!

Excellent Service with Tyrone!

Tyrone was a reliable, professional, and friendly tour guide. We used his services for transportation only and did not take a full tour, however, Tyrone gave us excellent recommendations for our visit including a local beach and lunch options. He dropped 18 of us off for the afternoon and scheduled a return time to pick us up and take us back to the port. He arrived nearly 45 minutes early, found us on the beach, told us where he was parked, and encouraged us to enjoy the rest of our time! We were so impressed with his punctuality and customer service! Book with Tyrone for peace of mind and great service!

Brilliantly entertaining and informative tour. Tyrone Wilson conducts one of the best tours we’ve experienced on the globe! He is prompt, his vehicles are clean, and his staff are very professional. Tyrone is very attentive to details, drives safely and competently. His knowledge of the area and how historical events affected the region will keep you engaged. The custom crafted stops for our group did not disappoint. The flavors and experiences we sampled were well received by everyone in our group.

I felt like they kinda ripped us off . Don’t get me wrong Tyrone and his son was really nice people loved them & the sightseeing tour was good. I felt as if they could’ve took us to see more & also they didn’t tell us some of the places were closed due to covid. Also a local driver told us the beach they took us too isn’t really for snorkeling so I feel like we wasted money we didn’t see no fish and have that much fun. We didn’t learn to snorkel they gave us the stuff and left us on the beach for a few hours & We slept on the beach more than we snorkeled.

On behalf of myself and my son Karon Wilson we are very saddened that you felt this way. It's very refreshing that we made some positive impact on your vacation. The duration of this particular excursion is 5 1/2 hours on a 7 by 21 Miles long Island not to mention including beach and lunch time. From March, 16th, 2020 to date April, 12th, 2021 the Chocolate Factory has not open its doors due to the pandemic and this was the only stop we could not make. I apologize for that but, l did replace it with Matamoros Candy Kitchen a small but local Candy Factory opnsense 1928. I am also a local driver of 30 years and a certified diver I stand behind the fact that Nirvana Love Beach is one of the best points of snorkeling without having to go on a boat trip. It has been my experience at some point our customer would like a degree of privacy to enjoy their beaching experience. This may explain why after snorkeling and enjoying a light lunch with a cool refreshing beverage you had such a wonderful nap on the beach. Thanks for taking the time to reflect your views. Nice tour of the Good, Bad and the Ugly

Tyrone Wilson is a friendly and funny guy with a real interest in the history of his home town. You will see popular tourist areas, historical buildings and local businesses. He’ll pick you up at your hotel and drop you off wherever you like

Our trip was probably not typical. With COVID starting to let up, there were no tourist crowds and cruise ship people packing the venues we visited. On the other hand, many of the businesses were closed and maybe not ever coming back.

He took us to visit a the Queen’s Stairs, the Atlantis Hotel, a rum cake factory, Rum distillery as well as small businesses that made herbal teas and the home made candy store that is nearly 100 years old that Tyrone frequented when he was a kid.

Bahamians seem to be a friendlier than most and this tour confirmed that as we visited and talked with small business owners throughout Nassau.

Great full day private guided tour

We booked a full day private tour of the Nassau area while in port for a day. Don't hesitate to book a tour from Tyrone Wilson VIP Tours while in Nassau. Karon and Nekeya showed us all of the major sites and several surprise ones. They shared a lot of Bahamas history, culture, and everyday life while driving around the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, learned a lot about The Bahamas, and enjoyed the company!

Highlight of our trip!

Tyrone was a delight! Our family with teenagers enjoyed hearing about the island and visiting the highlights. We felt safe and got to see a surprising amount of the island in our short time off of our cruise ship. He was knowledgeable and made us feel like VIP’s all day. He ensured we had an authentic experience, with stops that included real rum cake bakery, a distillery where we had conch fritters, a chocolate factory, the queen’s staircase, the fort, Atlantis, a market, we tried local beer and a few other things. His van was clean, comfy and new and he even had a microphone so we could hear him. When we go back, we will be booking another tour with Tyrone.

We found Tyrone on a Tuesday 8/17/24 morning. We decided to take him up on his offer. MAN…am I glad we. He is so friendly and is always looking out for his customers. We enjoyed it so much we were back in Nassau on 8/20/24 and booked him again. Whenever we are back in Nassau we will always connect and take his tour!!

Thoughtful gentleman who doubles as a tour guide

Tyrone was great. When we spoke, he tried to sell his tour (as he should as a businessman), but he was not pushy. We walked away and ultimately came back because of his welcomed approach. Our family took an island tour where we learned about much of the history of The Bahamas. We stopped for some delicious rum cake, island chocolate, Bahamian Cuisine, and even stopped to sip our toes in the healing waters of the beach, where Tyrone was gracious enough to take some photos for us.

His accommodations were clean and comfortable. He remained thoughtful throughout and ensured the experience was a pleasurable one. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
