Loved this beach. Soft white sand beach and crystal clear water!!! It's a more secluded beach and very enjoyable. The only downside is that locals approach you often to try to get you to buy stuff!! They say things like come here you sexy island princess hahaha - got me for 2 wraps and and a necklace with matching ankle... More

The beach is AWESOME! Nice sandy beach with pristine water. The water was warm too! The water isn't rough, so it is great for people with small children. Lots of chairs at the Melia for guests to sit back & enjoy.

My family visited Cable Beach on our stop in Nassau and I was so glad we did. We took the #10 bus from downtown Nassau ($1.25 US/person) and asked the driver to take us to the public entrance of Cable Beach, which he did. He also told us what stop to go to to get back downtown. Cable Beach has... More

The beach is a wonderful site. We had trouble with locals trying to sale items to us. It was a pain trying to relax and them talking to us. Lots of pressure to buy items. Made me feel uncomfortable.

A flat beach next to Sandals resort with almost no crowd makes this beach my favorite. A safe place to visit with kids and must for visitors.

We stayed at a resort directly on the beach. There are several large resorts along the beach but some of them are closed presently. This includes the Baha Mar which has never opened. The beach in front of the resorts was busy but there was plenty of space to find a spot. Vendors offer all kinds of boat trips fishing... More

You cannot believe a beach how cute if you don't come this beach. Water is crystal clear. Sometimes possible to see small fish. Very clean beach. Really enjoying. Mostly recommend

Cable beach was not quite what we had expected. If you're staying right on the beach at one of the resorts/hotels I think it would be better. The beach is fairly pretty but there are so many more beautiful beaches on other islands! We found our way to the "public" part of Cable beach after taking the Jitney bus (#10)... More
