The Cloister is a unique ruin of the French monastery, located on scenic Paradise Island. It is an open-air, refreshing walk through lush gardens, complete with statues and other French ornaments-an absolutely gorgeous must-see.

This is a beautiful place! The gardens and statuary are something to behold. Numerous photo ops. It is absolutely a must do on Paradise Island. It is within walking distance from Atlantis if it's not too hot. You can spend as much or as little...More

One of the most beautiful parts of the island! Sadly this is reserved for the one and only club guests only but it's worth checking it out. We did get stopped by the worker and asked to leave if we weren't staying in the hotel....More

Gorgeous little garden with water in the background. Pretty statues. Don't need a lot of time here so if you can visit you should.

A hidden gem if you are staying on other islands. Worth the trip to see this beautiful piece of history, If you go via taxi, just ask the driver to take you there as they all know where it is.

The gardens are very nice - good view - nice little lakes - the cloister is not really big - but at least something to relax a bit

Just one of the many things to see on Paradise Island. The structure has been reassembled and is a piece of European history that I found interesting.

Loved it we had a taxi drop us off and then waited while one came by and picked us up right away.Nobody bothered us as we walked around. One guard at the end of the gardens across the street said we could exit that way...More

These were very beautiful gardens and were very quiet when we visited. They do say that they are for guests of the nearby hotel but we just ignored the sign and had a wander regardless.

There are signs, yes. It is part of the resort across the street. But no, it was not a problem to walk up th steps & have a look around-- no other people were there!
