Transportation from hotel to site chaotic... have patience, an open-mind, and the ability to be close to strangers. Same thing with registration We brought our snorkel gear. The site itself is pleasant - all tour types are initiated at same time. The first snorkel stop...More

We had an amazing time snorkeling! Deeve and Kadyn had a lot of great information, and made the trip a lot of fun. When we swam with the sharks, Kadyn was very informative about the amazing creatures. I would definitely do this again!

SO, if you have experience diving, this is the place for you. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly (our dive instructors name was Steven). I do not think I would recommend doing the discover scuba program there. We both understood prior to going that it...More

I still think that Stuart Cove is the best option for scuba diving while visiting New Providence Island. The boats are nice and the access to different sites depending on the weather is a big plus. However, the staff on the boats don't seem very...More

If I could I would give 0 star to the this experience. It was a horrible experience. I chose the dive course for starters, by the description, they would give you a lesson in the swimming pool first and then take you to the ocean...More

I can not tell how how disappointed in the experience I am. After MUCH research we set it up so we had two certified divers, two discover scuba divers, along with a bubble watcher (someone watching from the boat along for the ride), and a...More

Christopher and his crew were amazing, we went on the snorkeling excursion and had a blast! Very polite and friendly people, knowledge about the area, and made the whole experience hassle free. Definitely recommend looking them up for whatever underwater adventure you are looking for.

We were on a cruise and booked the snorkel trip (but not through the ship). If we would have had more time, would have loved to have done some of their other dives. Very efficient operation from start to finish. Snorkeling with the sharks was...More

Yes, but you need to do the 'Discover scuba diving' dive/training first.

Yes, the crew on the boat was great and offered to set everything up. I personally prefer to set up my own.

looking for a shark expedition limited time who can help us? (3 Replies)
I am searching for days now and I did find a lot of reefs to explore not too far away from Nassau but I need someone who is willing to take us by boat and to avoid a lot of driving time we would love to leave nearby Nassau. Our time is limited (cruise in port from 7 till 1too short I know ) IIt sounds maybe strange to some people but we cruise because we enjoy snorkeling so much have been doing that for almost 30 years so a few rocks and some fish cannot excite us anymore we also are...More

Sorry, but Stuart Cove is the only one who does a real shark encounter.. and sharks are only on the south side of the island.. (which is why you have to drive across the island from the port.) I don't know of any other knowledgeable crew who does this. you might find some yahoo local who will tell you they'll do it.. but it' not be a "safe" adventures.. for sure.

Powerboat Adventures or Stuart Cove? Interested in good... (2 Replies)
Is the Powerboat part of Powerboat Adventures really cool? My husband and I are going to the Bahamas in mid-Sept. We are semi-experienced snorkelers and mostly interested in the snorkeling more than food or booze. However, I think my husband would enjoy riding on a powerboat. How does the actual snorkeling compare between Stuart Cove and Powerboat Adventures?

I can't say about the Powerboat Adventures, but we just did SC on Monday and It was probably the best money I have ever spent on vacation. It is beyond explanation. Just plop down the money and send me an email when you get back thanking me. My two youngsters 11 and 12 would still be there if the trip didn't end. They even let my 11yo jump off the top of the boat, how cool. (Never in the USA) Just beware, they do go out in rough conditions, but we hit a picture perfect day. The Swimmer on the...More

Wyndham dive pkg (8 Replies)
I have booked air-fare for Jul 4 - Jul 10, and planned to do a Wyndham / Stuart Cove package, but upon reading reviews of the Wyndham I am very aprehensive to stay there. I'm not looking to spend a lot, but want a place that is clean and has friendly staff. I'm quoted 117/night + tax + bullch!t fees (15 USD pp pd), as part of the dive pkg w / Stuart Cove. I think it ends up as 161 / night for two people after tax and fees. Has anyone done the Wyndham / Stuart deal? How was the room? Does...More

Hey Scubafrog, I haven't stayed at the Wyndham but I can tell you that Stuart Cove is a top notch operation for either snorkeling or scubadiving. You can't go wrong with them as most others here will agree with. As for the hotel itself, well, all of them get mixed reviews, from your most expensive resort on down, so it's just a decision you will have to make. But Stuart's....good choice!
