Cigar Rolling with Rum tasting at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Learn how to...

Cigar Rolling with Rum tasting at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Learn how to sort, clean, store and roll a cigar – at the Graycliff Cigar Company, you can become a torcedore in a few hours. The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Once you’ve mastered the art, you’ll sample a variety of world renowned rums from the Bahamas’s own Bacardi to other Caribbean rums - Mount Gay and Barbacourt, and many more. The Graycliff Cigar Company began production in January 1997 in Nassau, The Bahamas. What then began as a single roller in the restaurant entrance way has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in their various format.

My wife and i went there as part of our excursion on a cruise. This place is a gem in the Bahamas. The cigar rolling class is a work of art. I couldn't believe the technique used and the touch that was carefully used in rolling a cigar. We were worked with 2 master rollers who had a combined 80+... More

It was so cool to see what the cigars were made of and how. I'm not a smoker but it was worth a try.

We stayed at the hotel and signed up for the cigar rolling class. It was amazing to get taught how to roll a cigar from Cubans who have been doing it for 20 plus years. And when you are done you walk away with a few cigars to call your own. It was a great experience and highly recommended.

This was an exclusive pleasure to be taught the process of cigar rolling. It was amazing- they show you how & roll 3 cigars with you on this tour. There were not many people here in the tour but the amazing people who run this were very informative, polite & suggestive on getting the most out of our tour. We... More

We walked to the location from the main shopping area. We walk in and had to find someone to help us. It was a Sunday! We were directed to go through the stunning courtyard to the back of the compound. Once we found it we paid for a short tour and then rolled out our own cigars. It was a... More

While it was interesting to see how cigars are made, it was a less than inspiring tour. It may have been the time we were there, but it definitely left us wanting more.

Signed up for the excursion on Royal Caribbean. Got an overview of tobacco growing, sat with a Cuban woman, and watched her expertly roll a torpedo cigar. Then she coached me as I rolled two cigars, the second on was pretty good. Got to keep all three cigars, and they threw in a nice cigar cutter and post card! Lots... More

Graycliff is a little hidden gem. Attached to it is a gorgeous restaurant and hotel. The cigar tour is very interesting, teaching all what has to do with how cigars are made. Plus there's a outside patio where you can sit and relax enjoying a nice whiskey and cigar. Definitely a must see when visiting the Bahamas.

I knew that there was a cigar factory on the Island and I had to go. This place is not anywhere near the tourist locations so be very careful when you are trying to find this place. Once you find this place it is amazing. It is in the back of a resort that is beautiful. The cigar factory is... More
