Sandy Toes is a nice way to spend the day away from Nassau.

From the boat ride, the food, the drinks, and the snorkeling it is a great trip. My only complaint is the beach is rocky. Rose Island has so many calm and relaxing beaches, I'm... read more

From the boat ride, the food, the drinks, and the snorkeling it is a great trip. My only complaint is the beach is rocky. Rose Island has so many calm and relaxing beaches, I'm not sure why Sandy toes takes their customers to this section. If they could change the beach area it would be an above average trip.. Other... On our recent Bahamian vacation we signed up for the Sandy Toes excursion and spent a day on tiny, secluded Rose Island, less than an hour from Nassau by boat. En route our tour guide gave us the lowdown on what celebrity lived where and when as we passed the beautiful large homes along Nassau’s coastline. Once we landed on... More

We had a day in Nassau from our cruise. Having been to Nassau and Atlantis before, I was looking for something else to do. This was perfect! It is a beautiful, small island with a gorgeous beach, snorkeling, tubes, chairs, food and drink. I booked through their website and it was easy and a great value. The ferry ride to the... More

I have been there several times by boat with friends. The burger is good and it is nice to have such a beach place within reach from Nassau. Needless to say that the surroundings are amazing as when Bahamas is best. Good burgers and decent drinks. Would say hat is you are above 40 come on Sundays and if you... More

My wife and I, along with our daughter and her husband, visited Sandy Toes (Rose Island) during our stopover in Nassau while on a four-day Carnival Cruise out of Jacksonville. We took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal ($4 per person and about 10 – 15 minutes). From there, we boarded the Sandy Toes... More

We loved Sandy Toes, my family and I have been visiting the Bahamas since the 70's and a day trip to Rose Island is on the must do list, Sandy Toes is a good deal, great set up, food was good and snorkling was decent. The staff was amazing, we loved Captain Morgan (not the rum), the young captain name... More

We did a day-trip to Rose Island via Sandy Toes excursion. You go on a relatively short boat ride off of Paradise Island (near the bridge between Paradise Island and main Nassau island) to Rose Island. You can bring your snorkel on this island to get a view of the reef and marine life or you can borrow one of... More

We booked an excursion with Sandy toes and we are super glad we did. Upon arrival at Nassau we boarded one of the many taxis available. It took us approximately 500 yards away across a steep bridge. We quickly arrived at the sandy toes excursion hub. We were a bit early so we waited on the beautiful patio/bar area right... More

I was really looking forward to going to Sandy Toes. We bought the 10:00 am departure tour and the shuttle was supposed to pick us up at 9:15. We were outside our hotel at 9:13 and the bell man told us that the shuttle bus had arrived early but then left early. We called the booking folks and they told... More

Out of all of our excursions wed plan during our stay in Nassau, this was the group favorite. They take you by 2 small boats, and the island has a remote, tropical jungle feel. It wasn't over crowded, the food was amazing and they let us extend our stay a couple of hours. you can go snorkeling for free there,... More
