We visited this place several times during our stay and loved the dacquiris. They were made with a lot of fresh fruits and the price is much better than the resort we stayed at. On our last visit, we ordered strawberry dacquiris just like our previous visits but they looked bright red unlike pinkish red from our previous visits. When we drank them, they tasted syrupy and artificial which was disappointing. We didn’t watch them make the dacquiris this time as there were people sitting and blocking our view. We came late that night so they might have ran out of fresh berries. If that was the case, they could have told us so we can order something else. Even with that experience, we really enjoyed this place.

We read about the amazing daiquiris prior to our Nassau Cable Beach trip and had this on our list of places to try.

If you’re staying at one of the Baha Mar resorts or visiting Baha Bay, it’s super easy to get to Daquiri Shack.

From Baha Bay: Walk out the entrance/exit closest to the parking lot, you’re about 100 feet away, just look for the open shacks.

From Baha Mar: Go towards the conference center and walk toward the large parking lot, look for the Baha Bay water slides and you’ll see a set of shacks about a half mile or so away (about a 10 minute walk).

When you enter, you usually see a very small amount of tourists, most customers are locals.

My partner and I were greeted by bartender Kenny and he made us two large daiquiris and he mixed flavors together. We chose mango and strawberry and both were made with fresh fruits and were served in a large 22 oz glass and he topped off both of our glasses and also provided rum floaters when we drank them down. For $12/each, it was a great value for the area and highly recommend!

The daiquiris are still the best, but the location has changed. Baha Mar bought the Shack's land. It is now in the small shopping village across from Melia!

Walked here from our Hotel (Melia is right across the street) based on recommendations from pretty much everyone. Ordered a regular size daiquiri with coconut, pineapple and banana and OMG it was FANTASTIC. Only $6 which I thought wasn't bad. Highly recommend.

Workers were welcoming and fun, and the drinks were fresh, sweet and strong. Just a heads up to my fellow gentlemen here though, the second I walked away to use the restroom those same friendly gentlemen had no issue talking dirty and provocatively to my girlfriend. It's a shame, the drinks and service are excellent but that doesn't cancel out the disrespectful way they want to speak to females

After reading many reviews of this shack, I had my heart set on visiting this location. My first visit took a bit before we were greeted or served. Unlike so many others, we ordered 4 daqs and were never given an extra rum pour as so many people have recounted from their experience. On our 2nd visit, the bartender asked me what I wanted and then proceeded to make everyone else's drinks around me. I never received mine and then asked for it again after 20 minutes. I ordered a banana daq for my son which was made as banana peach. I requested a 2nd daq as strawberry kiwi and it came out as strawberry...no kiwi. I understand that mistakes are made, but either turn the music down or lay off on the in-house drinking I saw going on with the bartender. The 2nd visit did produce some extra rum pours, but only in my husband's drinks. The bartender focused more on him. I understand that not all businesses are perfect, but consistency is key and my two experiences did not yield that. Know that the daqs here have sugar water and flavored syrups added, so it is not "all fresh" as it is claimed to be. Also, pricing is dependent on who you are. It's not a total bust if your standards are average...

What a fun, local place! This is a great deal compared to the overpriced drinks found at the resorts. The Miami Vice was delicious!

My friend and I just stopped here for a drink on our way back to the resort! They don’t mess around with their rum here!! It was good though! You can choose any flavors you want and they whip it right up with fresh fruits!!! It was tasty!!

This small shack is the best place to find a real fresh fruit daiquiri, we stop in Nassau on a cruise and took the short walk to the local #10 bus ($1.25 each way )and a short 10 min ride.
This is a family rum business, Polo and his wonderful wife jo took GREAT care of us, there is too meny combinations of fruit mention but they come in two sizes and large, both avaliable with or without local rum, small $6 & $8 with liquor , large $8 & 10 with liquor, all made with fresh fruit right in front of you , they are the best. Go check the out ,you will be glad you did .

Take the 10 bus for like 2 bucks and tell them you want to go to the Daiquiri Shack.....they will tell you when to get off, great drive around the island and beaches and have the best drink anywhere! People a lot of times don't know where to go in Nassau well don't miss this little hole in the wall....all fresh fruit, cut and made right before your eyes and the owner and his son are terrific! Worth the bus ride....have your money ready to get off the bus and the busses come by like every 10 minutes. Give it an hour each way as you have to walk from the ship over towards the Hilton hotel and the straw market to catch the 10 or 10 a I think takes you there too. On the way back you can stop at the fish fry closer back to the ship for any one of the wonderful little authentic restaurants for an affordable and great bite to eat. I always go to the busiest one, where all the locals are! I figure they know the place to be. I usually walk back from there but you can grab a cab if you are short on time. If you want a high end place to go, the Grey Cliff is amazing....the homemade pizza in the back is affordable and straight from the owners homeland of Italy. The dining room is very expensive but wonderful and the wine collection is the 3rd largest in the world or something like that!
