The drinks are handmade from fresh fruit. They can be made with or without alcohol. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. There is also a small shopping area surrounding the snack. The items are mostly handmade by locals and geared towards the tourist trade.

Your drink isn't coming out of a machine at this place. Reasonably priced and right across the street from the Melia hotel.

The guys at the bar are the friendliest. They make you feel welcome. And they make the best drinks. if these and the reggae and R&B vibe they play doesn't get you in that island mood, nothing will.

We were staying at the resort near by and stumbled across this unique little place with amazing daiquiris. Best MiamI Vice ever!! Better than the twenty dollar ones at the resort. Very friendly. Had so much fun hanging out watching the Steelers game. Thanks Tyrell...More

The owner was so nice, friendly and engaging. He shared raw fruit with us as he was preparing the drinks. He filled our cup to overflowing then topped it off after we had consumed some. They tasted GREAT and they sure didn't skimp on the...More

After reading many reviews of this shack, I had my heart set on visiting this location. My first visit took a bit before we were greeted or served. Unlike so many others, we ordered 4 daqs and were never given an extra rum pour as...More

I'm not sure the exact time but the Atlantis is across the bridge. You'll have to catch the #10 bus and ask them to take you to the Daquiri Shack, it's a good 20 minute ride from the bridge. If the bus driver doesn't know... More

Cruise Stop Suggestions (3 Replies)
We have been to Nassau on a few cruises and have done several excursions, this time we choose to not book anything. But we are not sure what to do. What is the best way to get to the Daiquiri Shack from boat and is there anything we should see along the way. We like the beach but have that booked at 2 other stops and live 15 minutes from the beach at home, so we prefer to do something other than beach.

Make sure to visit the Daiquiri Shack opposite the Wyndham (0 Replies)
If you are in Nassau for more than a night, it's worth the jitney ride from Downtown to Cable Beach - stop at the Wyndham and across from it is a great place to get a wide variety of fresh Daiquiris in at least a dozen different flavors. The cost is very reasonable - $6 for a large one, which is about half the price of what we paid at the Sheraton.

Does anybody know the song? (14 Replies)
Since I've been here I've constantly heard a song that goes something like 'wine wine wine' and is really up tempo. I tried Shazaming it earlier when I heard it being played in the Daiquiri Shack but for some reason it failed. Does anybody know what the title of this song is? It's bugging me that I can't even find it by Googling it! Needle in a haystack I think!

sure it is not that older song that has the refrain of "Red, red wine"?
