My husband and I had the best time on Shore Thing Escapes. It was a full day which included numerous stops (iguanas, baby sharks, swimming pigs, private island, snorkeling Pablo Escobar's plane crash!) which were all amazing! We had a delicious, true Bahamian lunch where the service and food was beyond exceptional. But what made this trip truly unforgettable was the crew. They catered to each and every guest on the boat, made you feel comfortable and safe with all excursions, and made us laugh and smile ALL day. They had plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks throughout the day. I am so glad we decided to do this while visiting the beautiful Bahamas!

Edge of my seat, literally!

Could have been better than excellent. Toriano, Mikel and Hall, the crew, could not have been better. Really. I give them a 6 on a 1 to 5 scale. The perfect amount of narration, super attentive, and very safety conscious. The itinerary is also perfect though 160 high speed nautical miles and six stops over 11 hours is an adventure. The blemish on the experience, which was significant, is that 34 people were put on the boat pictured which would comfortably hold 27 or 28. My college age daughter and I shared a seat in the front perhaps big enough for an adult and a small child. And so I spent hours holding on tightly with feet planted to keep almost half of me on the seat. Some of the legs of the journey are well over an hour. I have to say there were several moments when the discomfort was almost unbearable. So, even though the crew really is the best ever and the itinerary is well worth it, I would not do it again unless the head count, including crew, was confirmed to be 30 or less. Then I would give the tour the highest possible recommendation.

WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!

This tour was absolutely amazing. I had the best time in a long time. Georgette was so sweet and nice put a great first impression on the business! Tori was an amazing captain, hall was great made sure everyone was okay and taken care of, Kel was absolutely amazing and made sure everyone stayed laughing. There was a 4 year on our tour and they were amazing with him and made it to where he enjoyed it also. So definitely kid friendly as well! I would recommend this pig tour over any other one, and the price is unbeatable. My fiancé and I were spectacle at first because of the cost, but it was worth every dollar. The crew was so nice and genuine, they made you feel at home and made sure you got enough time at each stop, you never felt rushed and they always made sure we were happy. They went out of their way to take photos of people at each stop. Even when we were in the boat they were entertaining and sociable. This was by far the best day of my entire vacation thanks to these guys I would recommend this tour to anyone who wanted to swim with pigs. These guys work 7 days a week trying to make people’s trip memorable and that’s exactly what they did.

Amazing Excursion
May 2021
Hands down one of the best excursions I have been on, It was a long day but definitely worth it. At our shark stop we were able to hold a shark and one of our tour guides even assisted guest doing the same excursion from another company because there guide would not get in the water (he made sure we were all taken care of first) Definite class. We had lunch at a local restaurant off the water, the best fish I've ever had it was a full plate of Bahamian food. Water got a little rough coming back and our guides definitely made sure we were all okay. Even made sure the 2 people in the front row (myself being one of them) were moved back a few rows due for safety and more comfort as we hit the waves. Thank you for a amazing day!!!!

Incredible Day w/ Shore Thing Escapes

What an incredible adventure! Shore Thing Escapes was an unforgettable experience. We explored so many beautiful areas; feeding iguanas, interacting with the pigs of Exuma and sharks at compass cat, snorkeling at 2 locations; Narco plane, and seaquarium and what a beautiful lunch at black point before jumping off the dock! We were speechless from the scenery, and the hospitality matched. Captain Cardo and first mate Kel made the experience so fun! They answered all questions, provided snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, and were so friendly! Shout out to Kel as well for playing great music and even dancing during the almost 2 hours of traversing the Bahamian Cays, his energy made the tour one I would recommend to anyone!!! Also, Kel was so kind that when I lost my wedding band snorkeling, he offered to go down and try to find it even though I mentioned it was really ok! The care he and captain Cardo have for not only the well being of others, but the work they do goes above and beyond… 10/10!! When we return we hope to have them again for our next excursion!

Pro tips:

- Sitting toward the back of the boat may provide a smoother ride
- If you have dietary restrictions contact them as you are thinking about booking to see how they can accommodate
- Layers help, as the water and wind from the boat ride can make it feel a tad cold

The best of the BEST!

From the moment we arrived until the very last second we were given an experience of a lifetime with this crew! We had a group of 8 people and every single one of us left feeling so grateful for such an amazing day. The lunch was warm and delicious. The boat staff kept the entire day organized and safe. The boat crew also kept the vibe of the boat at an all time high with the music, dancing, laughing, and cold beverages all day! I could go on and on! There truly isn’t a better excursion out there and it was more than worth every single penny! If you are considering an excursion like this then Shore Thing Escapes is the one!

Amazing Experience! Kel is the best!

We had an incredible experience with Shore Thing Escapes. The whole day was awesome. The entire crew was great but Kel is especially great and kept us entertained and informed the whole time. His playlists and dance moves got the party started and made the travel time between destinations on the boat go by super quick. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the Bahamas and we can't wait to come back and do it again with family.

Amazing day excursion!

From the moment we stepped on the boat, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and made every part of the about us having fun and relaxing! They made sure we got pictures at each stop and that we all got a chance to hold the sharks, feed the pigs, and feed the iguanas. They even encouraged our daughter to hold a shark when we thought she would never even get in the water with them. Overall it was the best day of our entire vacation. We would highly recommend them!

Great Experience

The whole crew was great during our trip yesterday! “Captain Hook”, Tony and Kel really did a good job on our excursion and making sure everyone had fun. They were very patient, considering the it was a full house on the boat and everybody was pretty much turnt up. Kel was definitely the life of the party and made sure everybody had a good time, whether it was with music, dancing or just joking around. You all have the perfect team and I will definitely recommend family and friends come here to explore the different Cays and just have a good time

Best Crew
May 2021
This crew was incredible hands down. They went over all the safety measures as any professional in the beginning and then they set the mood for an incredible day of fun with music, alcohol and great vibes. Staff cracked jokes, danced and was very interactive with the passengers. Boat was very clean and has a tiny one person bathroom. Would definitely recommend this crew any day to anyone who is looking for a fun time under the bohemian sun. If you’re a grump who doesn’t like a good time or music then this isn’t your group. Went with my boyfriend for my birthday celebration and I wouldn’t changed it if given the opportunity. Forgot to bring cash for tipping but they have Zelle which was awesome.
