Booked a morning dive to the blue hole and reef, due to weather we were redirected to two different dive sites instead. Initially disappointing but understandable given the conditions. Bus was ~40 min late to hotel for pick up which made us nervous about missing the dive, but once at the shop things went smoothly. Dive masters knowledgeable and pointed out rays, crabs and sharks. Rental gear in good condition. Several reef shark sightings on both dives

I took the Discover Scuba Resort Course with my girlfriend and needless to say, I was nervous. I've read horror stories about scuba diving, but the benefits outweighed the possible negatives. I needed to try it at least once in my life.

Diving with Bahama Divers has made me want to get certified for life and maybe even get my own equipment one day. We were lucky enough to get assigned to Donny, and he is just the best. If you get him, just know that you are in good hands. Donny will go the extra mile to make sure you are safe and help you remember that you are there to have a nice and relaxing time. He's very easy to get comfortable around, which is what you want with someone trying to teach you how to breathe underwater for the first time ever.

Everyone there was great and fun, which made the experience less anxiety inducing. One thing I wasn't crazy about is that we had maybe 15 or so snorkelers on the boat with us when I thought it would be a small boat with all divers. Luckily for us, Donny made sure we were able to jump off the boat before everyone else so that we had more time in the water.

We were picked up from the hotel, and dropped back off at the hotel at the end of the experience. Loved this experience and we will cherish it forever. Thank you Donny and everyone else at Bahama Divers!

Bahama Divers offers a low key snorkel trip in the afternoon. They will pick you up at your hotel, take you out to a snorkel site, you’ll snorkel around for an hour or so, then they will bring you back to shore and finally drive you back to your hotel. No alcohol is allowed on the boat a good thing as vacationers could be very accident prone if inebriated. We liked it very much. The staff was helpful and caring without being in your face.

My husband and I went on a blue hole and reef dive this past December. There were thirteen people on the dive with only one dive master. The dives were chaotic and slow since the dive master was extremely uninterested in directing the divers. During the reef dive, the dive master called people back to the boat within 25 minutes. We had a much better experience with Stuart's Cove dive shop.

We were in Nassau just for the weekend and booked a diving trip with them. So they tell me they will pick me up at my hotel at 1:00 PM. At around 1:20 I called them and asked them if they were still picking me up. They said yes, just running a bit late. So I am it’s ok, things happen. At 2:00 PM I called again and the lady on the phone gives me a huge attitude. At this point I asked to cancel and she gets mad and hangs up on me. I should have known better. They were really bad at responding to my emails before I got to Nassau trying to book a diving trip. And from reading other reviews they lack a sense of safety on their diving trips. And obviously, horrific customer service.

Husband took scuba trip with them the day prior so we booked them for our snorkel trip. The crew was so friendly and helpful and our experience was great. We saw so many things! The only drawback is they were running late due to car problems and were 45 minutes late picking everyone up at their hotel. We still had the full snorkel experience but do think it would be great if they sent text messages or call to say they were running late.

Nice crew. Good diving. It was the only dive operator in the area. I had never been on a dive boat where they didn’t provide any snacks in between dives, so be sure to bring something. I would also suggest bringing your own water. The day I went, the water was rough, so the cooler they brought the water in spilled and there was no water available either.

DO NOT USE BAHAMA DIVERS!!!
This place is terrible!!! The divers would not come to the rescue when we needed help. Do not snorkel or dive with B.D. if you expect help in any dangerous situations. I am a certified diver who went with my family to snorkel. The boat took us out to a great site with lots of marine life. My mother ended up going a little out of the way. I went to go get her when we ran into trouble. As I was trying to bring her back, I noticed that the current was not on our side. The boat men told us there was a current out near the end of a rock formation. We were no where near the end of it, yet we encountered a very strong current. The waves were getting bigger and the current stronger. I realized I needed help getting my mother in. She was taking in a lot of water. I signaled to the boat that we needed help. What did they do? They told us to come in!!! This happened several times. I screamed help over and over but they still told me to come in! Now my little sister was panicking. I couldn't help anyone. If my husband hadn't been there my mother would have died. He used to be a lifeguard and somehow-I still don't know how-brought her in. I knew the only way to help my sister was to get to the boat. I could barely get there. I tried swimming across the current, but it seemed to be everywhere. The waves were too much for my snorkel and I had trouble breathing, but I knew I had to get back to the boat. I turned my mind off and kicked for everything I had. I finally got to the boat and yelled at them for not coming and to get someone to get my sister NOW. They FINALLY sent a diver to help her. The diver they sent didn't have a tank or air source or anything! The diver and my sister were scared. The current took them all the way out past the formation and to the other side of the rocks. I understand that current and choppy oceans can kind of sneak up on you, but there is no excuse for not helping/sending a diver in a bad situation. If you value your safety DO NOT USE BAHAMA DIVERS!!!

I took a 3.5 hour "snorkeling" tour with 3 children ages 12-16. Turns out it was a diving excursion that took us along to snorkel. First stop dropped us off in middle of the ocean to see a 40' down ship wreck. None of us saw any fish or the wreck. More importantly, the boat drifted 300 yards away in very rough seas. Unable to swim back to the boat we yelled for help! Instead of coming to get us, the captain sent out a single swimmer. Finally after 10-15 minutes of nearly drowning the boat came back to pick us up. My daughter became very ill and laid on the deck the remainder of the trip. The Captain said he saw me yelling for help but decided to stay with divers "in case of emergency". I explained we had an actual emergency and told him & manager that sea conditions were not conducive to snorkeling. Second stop was fine for snorkelers but I stayed with my daughter. The was a Very Scary Experience & we are lucky to have survived.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I am sorry to hear that your experience was not ideal. Based on your review I was able to pull the manifest and dive video from that day as we record all in store complaints. Again I am sorry that your experience was not great but you were advised several times prior to confirming your booking with a 3rd party Tour Agency on island that this was a dive trip and again several time before getting on the boat. At the first dive site our Captain ensures me he had told you that the first site was not ideal for snorkel and that he would recommend sitting out. Again this was told to you by the Tour Agency and at our check in several times which you agreed to and understood. The boat did not drift anywhere as it was anchored securely at the site. Currents can often sneak up on people and carry them well away from the boat before they notice. THIS IS WHY YOU WERE ADVISED SEVERAL TIMES NOT TO SNORKEL THE FIRST SITE. The Captain from the morning ensures us that he kept eye contact on you at all times and had to make a judgement base on other divers in the water. He sent a single swimmer to you to keep you calm and talk to you so that you would know he DID see you and to remain calm. Panic can be a snorkelers and divers worst enemy. If the Captain saw that you where in danger or the swimmer signaled that he needed to leave the divers and come to you he would have. I am glad to hear that there was no injury and you were able to snorkel the second site which was much more conducive to snorkeling, We hope you will snorkel again with us in the future and if you do decide to snorkel on one of our dive trips that you will take the advise of professionals who spend every day on the water and know these sites like that back of their hand!
