Pay for the full swim encounter - it's worth it!

Booked the Sealion and beach day pass with cruse line. The Sealion experience was great the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our time. We then went to the beach to play in the inflatable park. Having paid for this extra we were greatly disappointed in this as all of the inflatable equipment was covered in bird crap, and the... More

We booked this excursion through our cruise ship, Norwegian Escape. It was the most expensive dolphin swim but the reviews were really good and we wanted to avoid Atlantis. It was well worth the money. Such an amazing experience!! You get in the water with the dolphins and get to pet them, kiss them, hug them and dance with them.... More

We got stood up by Seahorse Snorkeling at 830 am on New Year's Day (ack), so we decided to try a trip to Blue Lagoon instead. We did a beach day without animal interactions (please reconsider doing this as it's not good for the animals). The ticket was a very good deal as it includes the boat trip both ways,... More

We booked our encounter through Disney. You get off the boat and take another approx 20 min boat ride to blue lagoon. We booked the first dolphin experience. It was my family of four and group of 3 and then a group of 2. You can wear your bathing suit and they provide a life jacket. It is mandatory that... More

Loved this place! I am not a swimmer - I just sink, so when the opportunity for a dolphin encounter came up where you go only in waist deep water tank to touch a dolphin - I was 100% in! You take a boat to the island then get a brief intro - then walk into the tank with the... More

We originally planned to do the beach at Blue lagoon, didn't have any intentions of participating in the Dolphin encounter being we did one during spring break earlier in the year at Atlantis. The difference this time is my parents joined our trip and mentioned on the boat ride over they have never experienced an up close and personal experience... More

Visited Dolphin Encounters 12 years again and returned for a second time last week. While Blue Lagoon Island has new added activities, much remains the same. Our primary purpose in visiting was to do the dolphin swim with our children, ages 9 & 7. We debated going with Dolphin Encounters to swim with dolphins versus a similar experience at our... More

The dolphin encounter was wonderful but having done it and thought about it I feel terribly sorry that these wonderful animals have lost their freedom just so that we can get a close up encounter. The company are over anxious to photograph every aspect of your encounter and then charge you extotionate prices for low resolution images that they email... More

I absolutely loved this day! Short boat ride to the Blue Lagoon from the marina on Paradise Island. We enjoyed the day at the beach as well. It wasn't crowed and we basically had pick of hammocks and chairs. We took the 10:30am ferry and the dolphin swim was the first thing we did. It was extremely windy (25mph) which... More
