If you enjoy history you will want to stop here. Even if you do not appreciate history the views from the fort are great.

We were on a tour of the island and saw this place which is near the Queens Staircase. It costs $1.08 each to enter. It gives you some great views of the island and history of the Fort itself.

Good location close to the highest point in Nassau- the water tower. Pretty small looking fort, easily toured and gives a decent bird’s eye’s view of the town and the docked cruise ships.

We stopped here on a morning tour of the island and took some pictures and visited the vendors. Great views and an interesting history.

This was a neat place, not much to it and it cost $1 to go in it. We loved the history behind it and the view was awesome. Cheap place to visit with a rich history.

We walked from the colonial Hilton to Fort Fincastle and the queens steps. It was a 15 minute walk and worth it. Walked up the steps and then paid the dollar to go into the fort. Now it's nowhere near a full on castle more...More

Fort Fincastle is worth the stop because it offers a beautiful view of Nassau. Avoid the street vendors; spend your time walking through the small fort and take pictures.
