I personally had looked forward to this trip for months leading up to our holiday. The weather meant we had it cancelled twice, as all hope vanished that we would be able to go on this trip, it was 3rd time lucky (thanks to the amazing lady at Powerboat Adventures who found us another day to go).

This trip exceeded all our dreams and expectations. We started with iguana feeding which my daughter (17) absolutely loved. We then went to the private island where there were sharks and stingrays swimming freely in the ocean. It was an amazing sight to see. They were so friendly and if you're sensible nothing to be afraid of. The rays love to swim round your feet. Now the pigs, oh my goodness the pigs. They were absolutely adorable. We had the opportunity to feed the pigs and the rays and watched the tour guide feed the sharks in the amazing shark show. The bbq lunch was beautifully cooked and had a lot of choice. Hats off to the chef. The island Is beautifully clean and because its private the only people that are there are the ones on your boat (roughly about 50). Which Is so much better then the other over crowded tours.

Now the staff, where do I start. They were all absolutely brilliant. They were funny and friendly, but not overpowering. They all just come across as loving their jobs. They went above and beyond to make sure every person enjoyed their day and they really look after you.

When you arrive in the Bahamas you will soon find out that this tour offers more than any other for the price. It's very hard to book onto once you arrive so I would suggest booking in advance.

Thank you Powerboat Adventures for the greatest trip of our lives. The memories will last a life time.

The best trip ever ! When staying in Nassau and looking for a great boat trip across the islands look no further ! Powerboat Adventures took us to two islands - first to feed iguanas ; then the main attraction on a private island 7 min away , including feeding stingrays, sharks and of course the highlight - cute piggies ! It’s a full day trip 8 am - 5 pm with a pick up from your hotel (not many companies offer it we did a lot of research) , including delicious lunch , unlimited drinks, even a little cooking lesson when you learn how to prepare conch salad. Really friendly and professional staff will be looking after you throughout the whole trip. It is definitely a must do excursion in Nassau when it comes down to value, quality and the choice of speedboats trips. We are considering doing it again as staying here for 2 weeks :) . 20/10 Bravo

Powerboat Adventures are a long established company and have perfected their product over many years. It is a bit more expensive than other tours but you gain in the range of experiences during the visit. There is an hour fast boat ride to the first stop to jump off the back of the boat into the water to feed some iguanas on the beach - beware of their sharp teeth. Meeting the swimming pigs comes on another island. Plenty of opportunities for photos if you have a waterproof camera. The crew give very clear instructions on how to react with the wildlife safely and this needs to be followed. Sting rays large and small will push against your legs as they glide past. Sharks will be inquisitive but kept away from you by the vigilant crew. A large varied buffet and open bar under cover is provided with time to splash about on the sandy beach before snoozing on the return journey.

One of the best moments in the Bahamas! First let me say the price is so much better than any of the other excursion options we saw. We stayed at the Royal Atlantis resort (highly DO NOT recommend), and they were offering less to do for double the price of this one. We took off on a powerboat and saw the beautiful water including a dolphin on the way to the first island. The first island was quick we fed the iguanas and then headed to the main island. Here we were greeted by an open bar and sandwiches/ snacks and fruits and veggies. We got settles then fed the stingrays, which was an amazing experience they swim right up to you and brush past you. We fed the pigs, which swim in the water. Lastly, we stood in the water as the tour guide fed the sharks, which was amazing to watch so close! We then finished our day off with an included lunch and relaxing/ exploring the island some more! Did I mention the included, UNLIMITED alcohol? 10/10 recommend, every time I goto the Bahamas, I will be booking this excursion again!
If you want great pictures and videos, this is definitely the place to do it!

We took our private vessel (377 Intrepid) to the Exuma and did some island hopping and stumbled on a hidden gem as one of our stops( Ship Channel Cay) owned and operated by PowerAdventures. We paid approximately $900 per night but that included dockage, accommodation, food, and all beverages you can think of. As well as plenty of ice for the boat. Getting into the island was tricky but Brownie met me outside the channel on his boat so I could follow him in to the dock. Brownie also handles the cooking and other activities to assure that your stay is amazing. In addition to Brownie there is also Booker who is not only the island maintenance man, and carpenter but he also serves as a lifeguard and entertainer by bringing in the Sharks, Stingray’s and swimming pigs. Yes, this island also has swimming pigs! Our accommodation was amazing and the AC was very cold and shower had great pressure and hot water. For our dinner Brownie made us Lobster, New York Strip and Cajun Mahi. I can go on and on about this great Exuma Cay and Brownie and Booker aka (“True Air B&B”)! I wish others to experience the amazing time we did so try to fit it in to your next Exuma adventure!!!!!

They’ve got a well planned and well timed trip. From the timely morning pickup at your hotel, to the pacing of activities, the day was enjoyable and the service was friendly. The current at Ship Channel Cay beach made snorkeling difficult, nevertheless I saw a green sea turtle! The plentiful food options were delicious. The rum punch was great. The animal encounters including iguana, pig and sting ray feeding and watching the sharks being fed all exceeded my expectations. The amount of people on the excursion was also just right; just enough to fill the boat and makes friends if you wanted. But once on the beach you had plenty of room to have time to yourself.
Again, the staff were friendly and talkative. There’s some room for improvement including; the beach could be a bit cleaner at Ship Channel Cay considering it’s a small private property. Also, the effort to get folks back on the correct return shuttle bus was a bit disorganized. Both of these could easily be fixed.
Although the excursion seemed pricey, at the end of the day we felt like we got our money’s worth.
Have fun!

My family LOVED this excursion! The variety of activities made the day fun for the 4 of us. You experience all of the animals in their natural habitat. My children are 8 and 3, that said this is more geared for older kids, it was perfect for my 8 year son but 3 year did has have a blast. The other reason I would say this is more for older children is the boat ride is tough. It’s 1 hour and VERY fast, and you are soaked on the ride out. They provide rain jackets which really helped but just know it is not a casual ferry/joy ride.

The iguanas, sting rays, and sharks, and conch demonstrations were all very fun! Communication to gather for when things would happen, also great. All the staff were wonderful! Food and drinks were all very good! They had food all day, snacks, lunch, more food you won’t go hungry and all tasty. The beach on the private island was beautiful!

If your main objective is the pigs I would recommend The Rose Island pigs, these were fun as a part of the day of activities though.

We were so excited to take this excursion! The boat ride was beautiful and the staff great. All parts of the excursion were incredible: feeding the iguanas, sting Ray's, and pigs. The lunch served was an absolute feast and delicious! The live narrative on how to properly make conch salad was fun to watch and tasty to eat. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would gladly go again! Thank you Powerboat Adventures for this memorable experience on our family vacation.

This was the best excursion we have ever been on in the whole of the Caribbean. The speed boat was huge and such an exhilarating ride through the most beautiful clear blue water which took us first to the island to feed the iguanas. We were all given grapes on long wooden skewers so we could safely feed them. Next stop was a private island so it was just our boat and we fed the pigs and manta rays. Had really good lunch of Mahi mahi, chicken, burgers and sausages with fresh salads and all the scraps get fed to the pigs, so no waste at all. Saw different sharks nearby too luckily all small ones. Captain and crew were helpful and informative and included how to make a conch salad. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone heading to the Bahamas.

I took my sister on the powerboat for her birthday and it was AWESOME. I think I enjoyed it more than her LOL. Takio was awesome, the boat ride was to die for, the food was good and the experience was out of this world. The Private Cay was so relaxing and I enjoyed lounging about. The pigs are huge and at first glance scary but it was a joy feeding and petting them. I loved squiggly and swishy the stingrays (mother and baby), The shark feed was dramatic and exciting I even made my own Jaws movie, me starring of course LOL. The Iguanas were amazing also but they were on a separate cay . Overall it was an amazing experience the staff was friendly and engaging from the check- in desk to the guys on the cay. I will definitely do it again with my family, hopefully in September. I am PROUD to be a Bahamian. Team Powerboat!!!!!
