- Ward F10 contributionsDisappointedStayed at Baha Mar January 2023. We did not have a good experience. i am a Globalist (highest ranking for Hyatt hotels) so we stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Our suite was not clean, the bathroom had plenty of other people ‘s hairs. The water park is overrated, nothing too great about it. It is a very expensive resort and the service is poor. I would not recommend this property.Visited January 2023Traveled with familyWritten January 6, 2023
- Exploring_ssNew York City, New York35 contributionsGreat overall with plenty of options for allGreat hotel with everything you need. We loved the Casino and (surprisingly) the Kosher Asian restaurant. The resort was huge and had tons of pools so you could always find a great poolside spot. We preferred the beach with beautiful crystal blue calm waters and white sand. The resort staff was great particularly on the beach, super accommodating and attentive. The casino was a ton of fun and they had plenty of great restaurant options. Some were pricey but that was par for the course. Had a truly wonderful vacation here with my fiancée. Will definitely be back!Visited June 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten January 27, 2023
- elizabeth n10 contributionsJust casinoWe took a cab to go to the casino from our dlsandals resort. Very close by and we spent a couple of hours enjoying table and video poker games The minimum is $15 for tables but I was able to find some video poker machines that had 5 cents bets. The play is much like that in the US with the difference being that their minimum gambling age is 18 so I saw a lot of young people I wouldn't have in the US. Also walked around the resort and it's huge! This wouldn't be a place we want to go to during to it's size but the advantages are that they have a lot of amenities and huge beach area.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 3, 2023

If they are not ready to open DON’T. Could not get food anywhere on property at 10:45 at night, only room service, sorry trying to watch college bowl games. Nobody has an explanation as to why the Pizza place isn’t open, but oh well they decided to close. Room service wouldn’t deliver to sports book as an exception, so much for trying to accommodate. Meanwhile this is after being in our room for over an hour waiting on Covid results, no room keys and no luggage. Been here three times a year for the last four years and I’m sorry if you’re not open ready to open then don’t freaking open

Had the best time with the best service ever in Baha Mar! Our host Vernique was so attentive and made everything so seamless and perfect. Alexis, Kyle, and Keiran became quick friends and took amazing care of us at the Beach Bay cabana. Vanessa and Judith in the casino were wonderful and Kevin [from heaven], Don, and Micah in the sports book were impeccable. We miss everyone already and thank them so much for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!

Although we did not stay at the Bajamar hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed their waterpark, restaurants and their gardens, pools, and fountain light shows. We also liked that they did not try to nickel and dime us like the Atlantis hotel and resort tried to do. If you’re driving your own rental car there is no charge for parking, unlike The Atlantis resort where you have to pay $19 in their valet parking. Special thanks to Anthony our waiter at Cinko Restaurant, he made our anniversary evening extra special with his great personality and charisma.

We were staying at the Grand Hyatt and obviously the casino is front and center as you do anything on the property. We had a large group with active teenagers so finding time to play some table games at the casino was a challenge. One aspect I really liked was that the lower table game limits always stayed the same (craps, roulette, and Black Jack had a $15 table open day or night). Obviously, the tables were busier at night but I never saw them raise the lowest table limits.
I was also impressed with the quality of dealers - very helpful.
it was kind of neat that you could find $15 tables of the core games at different areas of the casino. For example, There were three $15 craps tables spread around the casino when it was busy.
They also had “bubble” craps and roulette for $3 a play. (Many of the bubble craps “hit” buttons did not work at the one game we tried.

Room clean, no place in shower to put toiletries. That’s annoying.
cannot walk in to any restaurants despite concierge telling us so. Extremely difficult to get restaurant reservations even in advance.
If it rains, You are out of luck. There is NOTHING for teens to do. Kids club for small kids. Casino/shops for adults.
Repeatedly asked front desk for several things and had to ask about 4 times for anything to be done.
Water park very disappointing, very small. Can’t really see where they spent all that money. I hate Disney and their waterparks are hands down better.
Everything here is extra. Cannot do much of anything without paying top dollar. To be expected in the Bahamas.
Second trip here to Bahamas . First trip to Atlantis. They have Better amenities but staff awful. This place better staff but not impressed with amenities.
None of the restaurants or most of anything on property are affiliated with Hyatt so they don’t communicate with the Hyatt front desk. It’s very annoying and there is a lot of stuff that gets messed up.

Great hotel, great casino but the casino comps are terrible to virtually non existent. Stayed there for 4 nights and asked for player rating, was rated at $121/hand at 3 hours/day = approx $5000/hour. Told that did not meet the criteria for comps. I was told that in order to get any comps you needed to be at $500/hand average and 4 hours a day of playing..... Like I say great place but do not expect any comps, makes sense why Atlantis casino was packed and Baha Mar Casino always had room.

This casino was massive with plenty of machines and tables for everyone. Although I didn't have enough cash to play on the $500 minimum Blackjack tables, it was still a good time! Sports betting area was pretty cool and played the NFL playoff games. Free drinks while you are gaming, just take forever to get to you.

This place is paradise with the exception of the attitudes of some of the staff. Some staff appeared obviously disinterested and quite aggravated when asked for simple help/ directions UNLESS you offered them
CASH.
My husband and I were waiting patiently at Marcus restaurant (along with several other couples) for a dinner table. We were told that non were available at the moment. After waiting about 30 minutes, a couple walked in and asked for a table (without reservations), after being told non were available, the couple gave the hostess a 100$ bill and they were seated immediately. When confronting management about the issue, it was dismissed. For that reason, I will not revisit this resort.

The Casino at Baha Mar is new, beautiful, clean and well managed. The staff are friendly. All in all it's as nice as any of the really good casinos on the strip in Las Vegas.
We were surprised at how big it is - this isn't like the two-bit "casinos" in much of the Carribean.
That said, the table limits ($25 minimum bet most nights) aren't friendly for people who aren't serious about gambling.
Drinks are free, and they were very good.

Boa tarde vocês terão alguma festa para entrada do ano de 2020
What are the table limits like here? Plan on going for the day when the cruise ship visits( On a Saturday) and we are big fans of Let it ride.
and only local free beer when playing?
Love the game but not for 25 USD a hand.
Thanks

Do not play the slots the casino loses power often and you lose everything with no compensation for your time!! Also tables go up to 25 usd after 5 pm
