This was the best Nassau Tour we have been on, would highly recommend. The tour guide was amazing and gave a great history of Nassau. This tour hits all the great spots on the island. Will be doing it again next time we go. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to take this tour. Great for families!

I can not say enough good things about this tour. it really gave us a local perspective of Nassau and the history. Our tour driver Tamar( i think thats the right spelling) was fantastic. Learning about the city and its past was great and such fun. the stops along the way were so great too

Couldn't be more happy with a tour...
My cousin and I took this tour not expecting much but it turned out wonderful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the historical sites and, left us with alot of fun facts. Tamar was very easy going and made us feel at home. Every stop on your tour was a new adventure. Will surely recommend this trip to others and book it again...

Purchased this tour as shore excursion through Royal Caribbean @ $169 each. Our tour guide was very friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable enough, but here's basically what we got:
Visited very briefly the outside of 3 fort remains and Queens Staircase. We didn't have time to really walk around any of these. At one of the forts, I attempted to step in hoping to see the view from the top, and was informed that it was an additional $2 (not included) to do so, but not really a problems since we were off and running.
We visited 4 commercial businesses: a rum cake place, a cigar place where we walked through an area where a couple women were rolling cigars, Tasty Teas where we were informed about the benefits of their teas (I did purchase 2 types of teas, but certainly not why we signed up for the tour), and John Watling's Distillery which was in a beautiful setting, but in the end just another sales opportunity.
After the above stops, we finally drove along the ocean and past some of the beautiful upscale resorts. This was the shortest part of the trip before stopping for lunch, which was included in the price. We went to quaint small local restaurant. We were served 2 conch balls (sort of a hush puppy with conch) and lemonade, 1 chicken wing and maybe 2 small pieces of fried fish (not sure what the fish was) with dirty rice and a dab of cold slaw. Lunch was ok, but certainly not even $25 worth of food (probably more like $12-$15 at tourist retail price).
They advertise that the jeep has video monitors to give more historical information, but the day we toured they were not in use with no explanation as to why not.
Touring in the Jeep is more of a gimmick as we never went anywhere that any car couldn't also go. Since this is supposed to be an adventure tour, we thought perhaps we'd drive along a sandy beach or up to the highest point of the island for a view or in a jungle type area. Drove past but did not go in or stop at Edu-Culture Junkanoo Museum.
My over all criticism is that it's over priced by a lot for what we got. I'd have rather had a hop-on/hop-off type experience rather than going to places I didn't care about (commercial sales) and not spending time at the place I'd have liked to explore more.

We enjoyed our tour with Ahmad. We never would have gone to the Junkanoo Museum without him and it was the highlight of the tour. Got to try on the head pieces and to hear the history of the event. Saw two forts from the outside and the Queens steps.Tasty Teas was another stop and had a delicious drink. Then the John Watling Distillery and some rum. The only stop we missed was the caves, which was a bit disappointing. There is the opportunity to buy things at each stop, but we never felt pressure to do so. Lunch was very good at Drifters Restaurant. The tour is somewhat over priced but we really enjoyed having Ahmad show us his city.

Our tour guide Tamar was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and I learned so much about the island's history. I was able to tell my friends about all the things I learned and they were amazed. Many of my friends have been to The Bahamas before and never knew about the things I learned. This excursion gave me a new outlook and respect for the island and I'm glad they allowed me to be their guest. I won't give away too much details because I don't want to ruin your experience. We went to tasty teas, rum distillery, the queen's staircase, Barabba's Junkanoo (Barabba, we will forever be connected by the drums), and the famous fish fry.

Excellent tour with Leon. We had a full group and it was impressive that he remembered names and never tried to rush us through the tour. It was wonderful to get a bit more exposure to the local culture and speak to several local residents. I’d recommend this tour for anyone interested in doing something that’s a little different than just the beautiful beaches. Leon was exceptional.

We had a great time on this tour/adventure. Our guide was excellent and went out of his way to make sure that everyone had a great time. The visit to the Junkaloo Experience was GREAT!!! I highly recommend this tour, it will get you away from just hanging around Bay St near the port.
