Great place for a beach and hanging out. Snorkeling was great and you can rent paddleboards and catamarans. Good restaurant and beach bar. Sand was awesome

Go to Cinnamon Bay, and head to the far right side of the beach, as far as you can walk. There you will find some of the prettiest sections on St. John. Snorkeling isn't great there though, unless you are willing to venture out over the coral and rocks to the far right....and I don't recommend this!

You can camp, swim, snorkel, rent paddle boards and other water gear, the beach is clean, and there are showers and a little store, plenty of parking but you can get there by bus too.

Cinnamon Bay has a lovely, long beach with great snorkeling. You can rent stand up paddleboards, kayaks and hobie cats.

Amazing snorkling and swimming, with a narrow sandy beach... terrific place. Get there early for parking along the road.

Cinnamon bay was one of our favorite beaches on the island! Facilities: It had water sports equipment rental places (paddle boards, kayaks, surf shop etc.), a restaurant, showers, a beach shop with trinkets, little cottages on the beach and campgrounds! Our paddle-board rental came with a short 20-min lesson and they also held on to shoes and other important belongings... More

We were warned by the hotel that there were swells and snorkeling wouldn't be good. The waves were worth the visit! We played in the warm water, even through a 15 minute rain storm. Had a blast.

Cinnamon Bay on St. John's north shore is the best place to ride the waves. There is lots of white sand and shade trees. Come early or after 3:30 to ensure a prime spot and a parking spot. I recommend avoiding when many cruise ships are in port at Charlotte Amalie, as Cinnamon Bay can get crowded. Waves are best... More

All the beaches on St. Thomas are beautiful I must say. We enjoyed Cinnamon Bay because the beach area is wider. Trunk Bay and Maho bay area gorgeous as well but it was harder to find a place where the waves didn't reach because the beaches are narrow. Cinnamon Bay has camping, a restaurant, and some small cottages. There is... More
