There is only spots for 6 cars to park. And then a very short walk, and you have almost your own cove. Right next to Trunk Bay and you can hike or swim over for the snack bar or bring your own. If you stay...More

I love this beach. When I came 10 years ago, it was called Ghost Beach, and there were only two parking spots, and no sign. Now there is a large sign and more parking, but it still wasn't too busy. Snorkeling is good, sand is...More

After reading other reviews we decided to try Jumbie Bay for snorkeling. It's a small beach just a short walk from the 8 car parking area. The beach was very narrow but nice but we went to snorkel the reef. I found the reef to...More

Jumbie was suggested to us by our villa owners and we were so happy we listened. It's a short walk down hill from the small parking lot on the road. We arrived to find one other couple on the beach. We never had more than...More

Great small beach with a protected cove. The water is so clear, and the views are amazing. You can see Trunk Bay off to the right. I think this was my favorite beach on St. John.

There was ample parking the morning we went to this beach. The walk was not too strenuous. There were leaves on the path so couldn't see really well. Nice out of the way beach.

We stopped and enjoyed this beautiful beach on a whim, only 8 people were there so it is quite private. Peaceful and serene setting, plenty of room for tanning and a great spot for snorkeling and swimming. The beach is about 300 ft from the...More

This beach is for those who like their beaches a bit wild and very natural. There are only a few parking spots so you will find seclusion here. The beach is mostly pebbly/rocky and had more waves than the other north shore beaches. Due to...More

There is no parking and you have to walk 800 or so feet from the road to get there. Once you are there, you are greeted by a tiny beach with plenty of shade surrounding it. There are very few people there so you don't...More

So, once a beach that one would be alone at, no longer. This has been found. The parking limits the crowds but a few dingys and boom, its a big crowded. We went the week of July 13th and this was the only beach we...More

That's the one! There's actually a path, not a wooden staircase for Jumbie. To get to Jumbie it's past Hawksnest before trunk bay. The parking is on the right side of the road.
