If you’re looking for a relaxing but adventurous day out on St. Thomas, look no further than chartering El Gato! Captain Scotty and first mate Aaron were nothing but extraordinary! Captain Scott made sure all of our needs were met. We talked the day before the trip and he made sure he accommodated everyone’s needs. From the comfortability of the boat, the drinks, snacks, sight seeing, history, and water sports, he didn’t miss a beat. We went out for a full day with my family of 9 and everyone left with a smile on their face. Our favorite part was learning about the history of the island and seeing the landmarks.

If you’re looking for a charter, this is the one for you! You are guaranteed to have an amazing time with Captain Scotty and his crew. Will be rebooking with this amazing crew as soon as we come back!

Thank you Scotty and Aaron for an unforgettable experience.

A group of friends and I went out on a day where the sea was a bit rough but Capt. Scott did a great job navigating and still got us to a couple great spots for snorkeling and food. We were happy to see turtles, Sting Rays, squid, and plenty of fish. The service was excellent and we had a great time hanging out on the boat, which was very spacious. The upstairs was awesome for the view, bean bag chairs, and table for body shots. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the island with a group looking for a fun day, as it was all our favorite day of the vacation.

Scott, our boat captain/owner was simply fantastic. He was friendly, reliable and a wealth of information about the islands and history. We got an incredible education along with the most beautiful cruise around St. John and the surrounding islands. His boat is stunning, clean and so accommodating for all ages. We had my elderly parents, middle aged and teens on the boat and all were thrilled with the experience. He brought along his first mate Dean, who owns Woody's bar & restaurant on St. John and his adorable rescue dog "Lunch" who literally stole the show and made the day complete. Our favorite day on STT so far....second to none, wish we could cruise with Scott and team every day!

El Gato is of the most comfortable boats I’ve been on, and I’ve had the pleasure of taking dozens of boat trips. It’s super spacious and room for everyone to relax. They even had a DJ on board. The captain, Scotty, does everything possible to make your trip absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a good time, book El Gato!

What a wonderful day on the water! The boat, El Gato, is a roomy motoring catamaran. Our group of 8 had plenty of room to spread out and relax (it easily fits 12). Captain Scotty could not have been more accommodating - the day was "ours" and he took us exactly where we wanted to go...the southern shore of St. John. Lameshure Bay was the perfect destination for snorkeling, swimming, and enjoying the day. We even saw a deer swimming in the bay! While El Gato has the ability to venture much farther afield, we opted to stay in Lameshure, learning island history from Capt. Scotty while lounging about in the water and on the boat. It was the Perfect Island Day!

Captain Scott and first mate Aaron were the best guys around! The whole day trip was catered to what we wanted to do and Scott showed us around St.John to places we haven’t been before. Our group consisted of young adults in their early twenties all the way to people who are in their 60’s. When I say everyone had a great time is a total understatement!! The boating experience is by far the best I have been apart of thus far. Weather it is your first time on the island or your 10th time(like us) you definitely need to book El Gato with captain Scott. P.S. He’s got Shotski’s which guarantees a good time.

We had the best time on El Gato today! We went with a group of friends and the captain, Scotty, let us decide how we wanted to spend our day. Captain Scotty and his first mate Kristen made sure we had everything we needed, from snacks and drinks to the perfect spots to soak up the sun. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. The boat is so comfortable- there were spots for dancing, snacking, relaxing and mingling. We can’t wait to go back out on El Gato with Scotty and Kristen!

Scott and Kristen are two of the absolute best and greatest people I've ever met, and there's no one else I'd rather spend the day sailing around with! From history lessons to stories and jokes, Scott is so knowledgeable and full of love for the islands and life. We stopped to snorkel, checked out the BVI, took a little hike, and enjoyed thee best drinks made by Kristen. The boat and its captains have anything you could need or want. If you love being on the water, love good company, and want a spectacular adventure on your trip, then I can't recommend El Gato enough. Looking forward to the day I return!

Incredible, is the best way to sum it up. My GF & I did a day on the El Gato with two other couples. Captain Scott was amazing from the start of planning the trip - jumping on the phone with me & going through a soft agenda ahead of time. He set up a great full day for us that included cruising, snorkeling (gear already on board), turtle & sting ray sighting, & lunch. The boat was well stocked with snacks & alcohol we were able to enjoy, & Capt Scott was happy to answer any questions we had including places to eat on the island & historical facts throughout the day.

Dont have any complaints for the trip & would highly recommend to anyone who visits St Thomas or St Johns. We will definitely be taking another day out on the El Gato our next trip to the island!

Captain Scottie and his crew were absolutely AMAZING!! We have taken many charters in the USVI and they were by far the best one we’ve had. Captain Scottie is such a gracious host and FULL of incredible stories and history of the VI’s. We’ve already booked another charter with him and cannot wait to show our friends how awesome his charters are.
