We chartered the full day local sail with Captain Justin and first mate Pepper. As previously mentioned they cater the sail for exactly what you want. I am learning to sail so I mentioned that and said I would like to do more sailing but we also love to snorkel. The weather was great and the wind perfect for sailing.... More

My husband and I booked a 1/2 day sail on Fly Girl while in the USVI this month and had a great time with Justin and Pepper. We happened to be the only people on the boat that day, so we basically got a private charter for our money. They took us to two fabulous snorkeling spots, where we enjoyed... More

We chartered the Sail Safaris' Dell Rose for our family of five -- four adults and a seven-and-a-half year-old girl, all novice snorkelers. Justin and Pepper were excellent crew and great guides, leading us to excellent snorkeling. Justin engaged with our teenage son, and Pepper's enthusiasm for snorkeling and the reef inhabitants was infectious. He was a wonderful instructor for... More

We've been hiking and snorkeling all over St. John, so my son (17) and I went on the Fly Girl with Captain Justin and First Mate Pepper as our guides to go to places you can't access by foot or car. It was incredible-- saw lots of beautiful, vibrant corals, hundreds of varieties of fish, a nurse shark, barracuda, sea... More

These guys were so accommodating! These guys make you feel like you've been friends with them for years and keep your comfort and safety number one. Number two, they share the local history, take you snorkeling with great knowledge of the under water reef occupants and Pepper even swam ahead to point out all the present treasures including a young... We sailed with Captain Justin and First Mate Pepper aboard the Fly Girl today, and had a wonderful time! They know some great spots for snorkeling and are knowledgeable and very competent at what they do. They are also extremely amiable and took very good care of our group of six people. We all enjoyed our day sail immensely and... More

Second time we have sailed with Sail Safaris (first was 5 years ago) and what a wonderful experience yet again. Captain Justin and first mate Pepper made helped make the adventure one to remember. Wanting to snorkel and stay around St. John with leisurely sailing, we got exactly what we asked for on Fly Girl. Great experience, would recommend for... More

Just got off of Dell Rose with Capt. Dax and first mate, Pepper. What a wonderful way to spend the day sailing around St. John. They both made us feel like it was our boat for the day and treated us very well. Great time snorkeling and Pepper was a wealth of information on the sea life. Would not hesitate... More

We've sailed with the folks at Sail Safaris three times now, and it just keeps getting better and better. This time, the 27-foot boat we had booked (Fly Girl) had engine trouble, so with no extra charge, they took us out on the 35-foot Dell Rose. Beautiful boat, beautiful trip. We had six people total, two of whom were ages... More
