Absolutely gorgeous venue. We say turtles and rays and water was inviting and calm. A lot of people there including rambunctious group of children. Very impressive and well worth the visit.

Went twice just for the turtles. Narrow beach. First trip about 4 not busy. Second trip was busier, about the same time. Will do again.

Great beach for walking, sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming, or just "lazing" in the water. Turtles, fish, and eagle ray. Deer, chickens, iguana, and donkeys visit.

The snorkeling was great and we saw several sea turtles. It was great fun to just float in the water and watch the turtles feeding on the sea grass and to watch the fish cleaning the turtles's shells. The water was calm and parking was...More

Maho Bay is stunningly beautiful! It's a very calm place to snorkel and you're likely to see a bunch of sea turtles and southern stingrays. If you are on St. John or boating around the area, you must stop here!

Calmest water of any beach we visited in St John and St Thomas. After taking the ferry from St Thomas we rented a Jeep for the day ($70). We had no plan but bypassed the craziness of Trunk Bay and several other beaches before arriving...More

I seldom write glowing reviews but this warrants it. Swimming with dozens of sea turtles is very cool. An awesome place to snorkel and a very nice beach.

Yes, there is a public bathroom at the south end of the beach. This is a food stand for some beverages and snacks. You may bring your own Picnic there. Suggest to bring your own snorkeling gear. As I recall only Trunk Bay... More

Mahogany run is the only golf course in st thomas. St. John does not have one. I have never golfed there but I once rented a cart and drove the course and the scenery is magnificent. It is not far from Magen's Bay beach... More
