Some good snorkeling, clean beaches , and they are expanding across the road to offer food, it is really nice place!

Parking can be tough if you go later in the day. This is one of our favorites. Not just because of the turtles but the bay is so calm. You can float for hours. Shade is starting to come back. Recommend going early and setting...More

Making the easy taxi ride to Maho Bay on St John is well worth it for the snorkeling. We saw a large number of turtles while snorkeling only about 200 feet from shore. The beach at Maho is very wide with great sand. Not a...More

This beach is gorgeous, and it's highly likely that you'll encounter sea turtles here. Bring your snorkel gear and head out towards the dark patches of sea grass in the water. We didn't have to go out very far at all to come across 3...More

The soft white sand was nice. The view spectacular and good snorkeling to see sea turtles. Get there by mid morning as parking fills up (depends on season)

This was an awesome beach. Plenty of beach area for everyone to spread out. Swimming with the turtles was so magical. They were all over the place and let you float and watch them!

By far my favorite beach in St. John! So excited for the food truck and bar to open. Great snorkeling with lots of turtles.

Four of us visited Maho Beach and thoroughly enjoyed it. We paddleboarded and snorkeled for several hours. We spotted numerous sea turtles and fish while snorkeling. The sea turtles are (at least when we were there) just west of the completely red buoy nearest the...More

Beautiful beach! Rental area across the road. Grills on the beach for those looking for cool out. Nice snorkeling but not the best snorkeling the island has.

Any place in Cruz Bay is good depending on what style of food you want. Please take the ferry from Red Hook and do not drive over via the car ferry. They are not plenty and they are needed to bring cargo over and trash out... More

You can either rent a car dockside or take a Safari bus to Maho. You should pick up picnic stuff because you can easily spend the whole day at Maho.
