The ferry ride is less than 30 minutes. Sit on the top deck outside to enjoy the view as the sun sets. The taxi from the airport took almost 45 minutes. The view during the ride is spectacular. As you climb to higher elevations you can look down at the harbor. When you arrive in Cruz Bay there are taxis... More

The ferry is so easy. 15 minutes and you are on the island. The ferry runs on the hour every hour, both ways. Easy and about $24.00 - but they only take cash- no credit.

I have enjoyed every ferry ride. One of the ferry's remind me of a plane on take off. Lol. We were late for one but they were kind enough to wait for us. Cant complain about that.

No problem with ferry. Got patted down, bag checked, and questioned before getting on. I guess it's good that they're keeping it safe!

I've been on a lot of vehicle ferries and this is about like them all except you have to back in your vehicle. The staff was only moderately friendly but it was a nice way to get to St. John and have our own vehicle for the day. It was $50 for the carload 2-ways. I think the passenger ferry... More

Price hasn't gone up in years at $30 tops for people and your car one way. T 4 people adults and luggage about the same price as the passenger ferry. It extremely an reasonable crossing. Unless you really need to save $10 and the specific company has a return when you want to leave, buy one way's and give yourself... More

The Red Hook ferry is shorter, more modern, somewhat quieter than the old ferry from downtown Charlotte Amelie. The fast ferry from downtown is more expensive, and takes half the time as the Red Hook ferry, but does not run frequently and carries fewer people. On the other hand, children going from St. John to school in St. Thomas ride... More

As far as ferry crossings go this is a very short trip across to st Thomas very cheap and comfortable. The ferry is always on time and very reliable , the staff are very helpful and even let me and our party on board with our drinks from the bar
