This ferry is not a very friendly or customer oriented service. They are a necessary service and therefore not a lot of room to budge for competition.

Easy commute to St John from Red Hook. Smooth water and only 20 min. The one to Charlotte Amalia is questionable if it going to run every day.

I chose to rent a car for my trip to St John instead of depending taxis. I booked a round trip car barge with Love City. Easy online booking that gives you a nice discount. Lots of schedule options and no problems.

You can sit inside in air condition or outside on the upper deck. I would recommend the upper deck because you can see so much more. There is wind once the ferry... More

We took the Red Hook ferry to the island, everyone was very helpful loading and unloading luggage and making sure we had a taxi to take us to our resort.
