Left on schedule, arrived on schedule. We came at night so the view was limited, but I imagine it is quite nice during the day.

The ferry from St. Thomas to St. John (to Redhook) is quick and runs hourly (with slight delays of a couple minutes here and there). The trip takes about 20 minutes once your moving so not very long. Cost is very low (7 per person) and you have to pay per checked bag (4.00).

Commercial run of 20 minutes from Red Hook to Cruz Bay. About 20 minutes, come rain or shine. Scheduled to leave both ports on the hour, usually leaves about 5 minutes late. Chose your poison, warm and protected and no view inside, great view, but open to weather on top. Crew handles ALL luggage, including back packs and tag-alongs you're... More

We arrived and were directed to a taxi that took us to the St John Ferry. A porter grabbed our bags and pointed us to the ticket booth to get luggage tags and waited for us beside the ferry. Great service to Cruz Bay and back to Red Hook.

Great quick service to St Thomas. Come early and prepared and it is a breeze. Drop your bags with a porter (don't forget to tip) and grab a drink at High Tide right next door while you wait. On the ferry, up top under shade is your best bet. Tip the guys on the other side of the trip as... More

Red Hook ferry runs very efficiently. The cost is reasonable and it was always on time. The loading was quick and there was plenty of seating for everyone. I liked staying at St Thomas and taking the ferry to Sy John beaches. We did it twice and wish we would have stayed longer.

They do a great job handling the people and the luggage. Be on time and you'll have no problems. Keep cash handy in case the credit card machine is down.

The best piece of advice I can give to people who travel to St. Thomas: GO TO ST. JOHN!! We took the ferry from Red Hook to St. John on a whim one day and then ended up doing it again the following day. It was not even in our "travel plans." We took the ferry in the morning and... More
