Low key day in the cloud 9 Sailboat

Captain Al and Jackie were amazing hosts. The boat was fantastic and they took us to a secluded snorkel spot. Drinks were served and were strong. Def worth the money.

The dive sites were nice and near Cruz Bay, where the shop is located. The dive master pointed out a lot of interesting sea life such as lobster and octopus. However the dives felt rushed--though they were not that deep, they lasted only 40 minutes and I surfaced with 1000-1200 pounds of air. Other operators have protocols for separating divers... More

Two couples. We had Oliver as our captain. We visited coral reefs, a shop wreck, had lunch at Cooper Island...Oliver was a confident, friendly, knowledgeable captain. We would do this trip again. The boat was immaculate and the staff at Low Key were really very nice and helpful.

We were very fortunate to spend three weeks with friends who put us up in their basement on St John over Christmas, so my teenage daughters and I decided to check one off the bucket list and get PADI certified together. We got the bug on a Discover Scuba course off a cruise a few years ago and my kids... More

Love the shop, boat, divemasters, sites. Went to two reefs with swim throughs, saw turtle, shark, eels, rays, shallow so long bottom times and healthy reef. Nice boat and shop. Very friendly and is steps from the ferry dock. Great bar/restaurant next door for afterwards. First class operation all the way.

These guys are the ultimate professionals. Book your diving trip with them and know that you will have an amazing time with professional fun divers who will not disappoint. This is my second experience with them, and they are my go-to diving crew in Cruz Bay. There were three of us that dove two days in December 2016. We had... More

We have used Low Key for several years and rated the shop and diving as excellent. Over the Christmas period the manager of the shop was abrupt and rude. We left without buying. When booking a dive the woman positively shouted at me! Two others in our party had similar experiences and independently said let's go to Cruz Bay Diving.

Re-arranged travel schedule of Christmas vacation to be able to join 1X week trip to Rhone, off Salt Island in BVIs. Early morning ferry from Red Hook, St. Thomas to Cruz Bay, St. John. Short walk along beach to dive shop. Lunch on the boat during surface interval, chance to explore Salt Island. Lots of very interesting history. Interesting wreck,... More

My husband and son did a Discover Scuba trip with Low Key on our recent vacation to St John. The dive masters were fantastic. The experience was so positive that both want to get dive certified so they can do more dive trips with Low Key on our next vacation. When on the island everyone we asked about Scuba recommended... Bob, Capt Terry and sidekick Pepper, Max, Summer, Basil, and John went out of their way to make us feel right at home. This is the outfit to dive with when you visit St. John. We dove for 6 days with them. They've got two dive boats Low Key and Hey Now and plenty of rental equipment if you need... More
