In our Mongoose Junction location in St. John VI, you will find the original St. John Hook bracelet, locally made jewelry, and the best selection of Larimar, the "Gemstone of the Caribbean."

One of the shops I must go to when I visit St. John. Whether you're looking for expensive pieces or very reasonable pieces (as low as $10), you'll find something. They have local artisan pieces, masks, sterling, gold, wind chimes, fair trade pieces, a variety of crystals (e.g. malachite, garnet, jade, larimar) set in gold and sterling, change purses...this go, I got 2 crystals, 3 bracelets, an ankle bracelet, and a wind chime.

The people here are so helpful and go out of their way to help you find the thing that is JUST right for your needs. The beautiful selection is unique here. Not another *yawn* tourist souvenir trap. I thought for sure I wouldn’t be able to afford anything because the whole experience is a cut above. Sure enough there were lovely things I could buy for others and myself they didn’t look inexpensive. I took a special trip back to this island on a second day just to go here again. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

I almost didn’t go up the stairs....so glad I did! This jewelry store has a great selection and the ladies were a terrific help in putting together just the look I was searching for. The buyer even hand cut a chain for me while I was there. Best part of all, I walked out with some unique things from the Caribbean for a really great price!

We have been shopping at Caravan Gallery every year since we first visited St. John. I always purchase unique jewelry that you can’t find anywhere else. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional. A can’t miss destination while in the USVI.

I wish I'd stopped here first!
Beautiful jewelry at a varied of price points.
The staff was helpful without being overbearing. I wish I had more time, but we had to catch a ferry.
I get so many compliments on the pieces I purchased here.

I have visited this shop 4 times in the last 5 years and have never left dissapointed. This is my first time reviewing so I will try to keep it brief.
1. Most of the pieces are extremely affordable. I am a graduate student so I have to try and pinch pennies where I can. I never feel as if I am paying too much for jewelry at Caravan. They have a multitude of beautiful pieces under $300.
2. The staff is extremely friendly. Not once have I been pressured into a sale. While most who have visited St. John are familiar with the concept of "island time" and a more relaxed demeanor, the staff at Caravan are there to help YOU. Every time I visited I never felt like they were trying to upsell me, they just wanted to help me find what I wanted.
3. When I buy a gift for someone I try to have that gift represent where it was from. I feel as if Caravan really tries to embrace the island culture and feel with their pieces. Many have island themes (turtles, geckos) and their larimar selection is amazing.
4. Larimar. This is kind of related to the first and third points, but the larimar selection is why I keep coming back to Caravan. They not only have one of the larger selections of larmiar jewelry on the island but they are all good pieces, not just a standard box of larimar rings cut into different shapes. My girlfriend now has a hook bracelet, necklace, ring, and earrings from Carvan and loves every one of them.
TL;DR Every time I visit St. John I visit Carvan and it is always worth it.

So excited to be back on St. John and visiting my favorite jewelry store, Caravan Gallery. They have such a wide variety of beautiful items at reasonable prices that it's my go to place for Christmas shopping. I bought my first hook bracelet here several years ago and keep coming back every time we make our annual visit. Thanks for the great jewelry that my family and friends cherish!

This was our 6th time visiting Caravan Gallery, as it was our 6th vacation to St John. We always find quality jewelry at affordable prices! The first year I purchased a "J" hook bracelet, I love it and never take it off except for on my return trips to Caravan as they polish and "tweak" it back to new. This trip they brought me up to date on the remarkable warranty! I was thrilled! The staff is very kind and informative, willing to let you leisurely browse and answer any questions you might have.
One year, after renewing our wedding vows at Trunk Bay we purchased a pretty double heart ring, that too never comes off and has held up well!
Thank you for a great shopping experience! The location is so family friendly with lots of surrounding shops and restaurants and an awesome brewery where everyone finds their place to be!

My friends had recommended Caravan, and I now see why they speak so highly of the store. Their jewelry pieces have a distinct character, using local materials such as Larimar, a Virgin Island gem, and red coral. Totally stunning jewelry set in sterling silver, as well as gold. Many fun items for grand children as well, my 5 year old grandson will be thrilled with his shark tooth, and my 2 year granddaughter so happy with her mermaid beaded purse. And of course grandma is DELIGHTED with her purchase of both larimar and coral jewelry. Excellent workmanship, great, friendly and knowledgeable store owners. I'll be back.
