Thanks! If you take the "people ferry" from Red Hook, we are just a 5 minute stroll from the dock. Just make a left and stay on the waterfront. Thanks! More

Even though we went to St. John from St. Thomas on the ferry in pouring down rain, it was worth the trip. The rain made our trip shorter than expected but the easily accessible shops within walking distance made the ride worthwhile! We bought a variety of jewelry and clothing at very reasonable prices. My husband was glad the rain... More

We went to Mongoose Junction several times during our week in St. John. It's a little shopping area that has quaint shops, art galleries, the yummy North Shore Deli, bars, clothing stores and more. Generally speaking, Cruz Bay is very small and it is HOT walking around in July where many shops have no a/c. Mongoose Junction was not only... More

Thanks! Mongoose Junction is a beautiful place and we have Glen Speer to thank for it. Glen is the owner/architect/builder of the entire complex and the 35 years of effort results in one of the most beautiful places to be on already beautiful St. John. Thanks! More

Very nice shopping area, plenty of shade to get you out of the Caribbean sun for a bit. Little shops with artwork, souvenirs, jewelry, etc. Plenty of refreshments as well! Highly recommend it!

Great combination of shops for clothing, gifts and souvenirs. Free parking while shopping. Finish up at the Tap Room for locally brewed craft beer.

Thanks We do have ample free parking which extends around the back of the complex. When the island is busy, it is monitored so as to be available to guests of Mongoose Junction. Mongoose Junction has so many amenities, all with our guests in mind. Glad you enjoyed. More

Such a fun area to stroll and explore! I was on the hunt for a souvenir shop and I hit the jackpot in Sugar Birds! I walked out with a bag full of all types of souvenirs. Everything from keychains, wood carved items, ceramics, wind chimes, maps, etc. We loved this little store!

We got several items in the mall area. Good eating too. Got pretty lucky on parking even in the busy hours. Had a party of 5, which were 2 adults, 3 kids ages 18,9,5. Great location, near everything else in Cruz Bay.

My wife and I visited here several times. We loved the look and "feel" of this shopping and entertainment area. The stores are nice and my wife purchased a swimsuit and several other items. There are some good restaurants there as well and live entertainment. We attended the Sunday Jam Session and enjoyed the music.

Thanks Peter Sun Dog Cafe has hosted a Jam Session for about ten years. It's a little different than an "open mic"; while they do feature some talented amateurs, the focus is on professional players who come in to play with their peers in a low key environment. They've hosted several nationally popular players over the years in their very... More
