Spent a great day with friends and the Sonic Charters crew aboard their 50ft Searay in the USVI and BVI. This is a must do if you are visiting the Virgin Islands. It will be the highlight of your trip!

Hi Debbie, Thanks for your interest! We do have availability that week and would love to take you out for the day. All of our charters are private so it would just be your family with our captain for the day and you could go wherever you'd like.
Our full day charter is 8 hours and the rate is $675 including captain, plus fuel. Our half day is 4 hours and the rate is $525 plus fuel.Fuel charges differ depending on where you go. To visit some places around St. John, a few of the British Virgin Islands (any combination of Tortola, Norman Island, Jost van Dyke, etc.) it would be around $160; anywhere between $150-175 depending on where you go and how much you bounce around. Virgin Gorda is not included in this as it's about 40 miles away so if you included The Baths in your itinerary fuel would be around $225; maybe less it just depends on the water conditions that day. We do this trip often but always like to let people know it's more expensive for the fuel. You could also spend the day in the USVI and you could spend your time around St. Thomas, St. John, Water Island and some of the little uninhabited islands and fuel would likely be between $100-150. If you did a half day I would definitely recommend staying in the USVI. Our captains make sure that each trip is customized to fit exactly what the guests are looking for whether it be snorkeling, beach bar hopping, visiting the most popular spots, checking out some of the more hidden local spots or a combination of all.
We also have a 50' Sea Ray in our fleet which is more of a luxury charter and the price is $1750 plus fuel, customs and gratuity. For this charter we provide an open bar and a small breakfast and afternoon snacks. If you're interested in this let me know and I can send you more details on fuel etc.
Please note when going to the British Virgin Islands, there is a $45/pp customs charge and everyone must have a passport. Unfortunately, we have no control over this extra charge, it’s what the BVI gov’t charges all visitors. If you stay in the USVI customs fees to not apply.
We provide snorkel gear and a cooler with ice and water but you're welcome to bring anything you'd like. I think this covers most of the details but let me know if you have any questions.
