A favorite of windsurfers, the beach has fine white sand and beautiful views of St. John and offshore cays, and offers excellent snorkeling at the reef to the east, near Pettyklip Point.

This is a nice beach although I prefer Magen's bay. Lots of rocks. There is a beach bar and restaurant and parking was free.

Sapphire Beach has it all. Sun, snorkeling, beauty, service ..... We absolutely love it here and would go back in a heartbeat. Be careful with the reef. People were standing on it and the corals are old and very delicate.

Sapphire Beach great clear, torquoise water but a lot of coral as well which makes it great for snorkeling. It has two sides - the calmer side where most people swim and snorkel and the other side (near the marina) has more rougher waters and...More

From the moment we arrived at the Sapphire Beach Condos we were in awe with the view. The beach is shaped liked a crescent Moon with a marina on one end & mountains on the other which gave it a very private feel. We loved...More

The beach is free. No cost at all. You can rent chairs and yes you could bring a cooler and food. There is a beach bar and grill there also that was very good.

We paid $10 per person in April 2017. Most people paid between $10-$12. That's one way, so it was $80 round trip for our family of four. Travel time depends on traffic. I would say 30 minutes. The drive is beautiful and... More
