About
A favorite of windsurfers, the beach has fine white sand and beautiful views of St. John and offshore cays, and offers excellent snorkeling at the reef to the east, near Pettyklip Point.

Our place was on Sapphire Beach and we were not disappointed. The water is so clear. The beach is awesome, plenty of sun and shade for everyone. The snorkeling is great and easy to reach. There seemed to be someone snorkeling all the time. There's a bar with a great burger and fries as well. Very family oriented. There's also a coffee shop with great drinks and breakfast sandwiches.

This beach was wonderful, safe, had great snorkeling with easy access, with free parking. Also, if you see Carol please stop and do a sand art. We made two beautiful frames that we will now put a picture of our trip, She is very welcoming. We spent hours here and wished we had spent time here versus Coki beach.

Best colored- turquoise water we saw. So, so beautiful. Not sure if they'll charge you for parking or access (they didn't charge us but they may have thought we were guests in the condos).

Beach was slightly crowded when we went there and had a mix fo families and couples. Was entertaining to see some of the kite surfers and sailing nearby as well.

We didn't see a ton snorkeling here but we could've not looked in the best spots (it was our first day and we were just taking it all in!).

Would definitely go back to this beach! Note: All beaches ten to have sand fleas that bite. Make sure you rent a chair or bring chairs from the place you rent. They bite a lot and the bites show up the next day!

Good snorkeling although there were a lot of rocks and seaweed on the beach making it less pleasant than some other local beaches.

Beautiful and a must see during your trip! We had the pleasure of staying at Pavilions and Pools, which is a quick 5 minute walk to Sapphire. The water is beautiful and the beach is awesome! We enjoyed snorkeling and relaxing under the shady trees! We even got to see some iguanas! Can’t wait to return!

But they try to keep up with it. There are two guys that literally rake that stuff for 8 hours a day but i'm told its that time of year. I would suggest water shoes because even the widest point of the beach by the bar has a rocky entry. At least 3/4 of the beach is only usable for sitting there are so many rocks I cant imagine trying to swim in a lot of it. Really the only swimable area is from the bar area and further up the beach away from building A.

Gorgeous water, wonderful breeze from the trade winds, white sand. Idyllic. Views of the other islands in the background.

We loved Saphire Beach and the resort we rented a condo on air bnb. The restaurant on site was good, coffee shop was amazing for breakfast sandwiches and coffee and some souvenirs. We will definitely stay at this condo resort again and the beach was great.
