About
A favorite of windsurfers, the beach has fine white sand and beautiful views of St. John and offshore cays, and offers excellent snorkeling at the reef to the east, near Pettyklip Point.

We stayed right at Sapphire Beach Condos. LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! 8 days and we only went out to eat 7 times (4 lunches at beach bars and 3 dinners) 2 of the dinners were right there on site at Slices. Beach is great....More

It's great to be back here in St. Thomas. The recovery is really amazing. The bar and restaurant is rebuilt. The sand is great. The water is still crystal clear. Beach chairs and snorkel gear are ready to rent. It's as great as I remember.

Loved this beach. Beautiful views, not too crowded and great bar & grill. Good snorkeling and good swimming - not always easy to find both at the same beach!

The best part about this beach (although people on ships can elect excursions here) is that it is on the far east end and most people don't. So even on days where there were plenty of people, it never felt crowded.

We have been to many beach destinations and Sapphire Beach took our breath away, The view is utterly fantastic! Family friendly beach. Lots of people, but we simply walked to the end and had our own private piece of paradise. (Most people camp out by...More

We had a lovely time at the beach and exploring the undersea world. This would be a very nice place to stay as it has a good balance of activity and quiet.

We actually stayed on St. Thomas for our vacation, rather than cruising. There is a wonderful beach bar and grill at Sapphire Beach, and there is a concession that rents chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, kayaks, etc. I... More

Budget Car Rental- Sapphire Beach (5 Replies)
Hi! My sister and I are bringing friends down next year and were thinking on renting from the Sapphire Beach Budget instead of the airport budget (we are drivers under 25 so other companies will not allow us to rent from them...as well as we had problems with the airport budget in the past). Has anyone recently used the Sapphire Beach Budget and if so, what was your experience? What full size SUVs do they carry? I know that in the past they have had like Jeep Commanders but I do not know...More

I can't help you with the question of their service but the vehicles available at Sapphire and the airport come from the same pool of stock. Best to check with them directly to see what they offer.

Sapphire Beach D10 and D11 experience? (9 Replies)
I am looking to book our first trip to St Thomas and considering renting directly from an owner, which I have not done before. They are private and not through VRBO or Homeaway, ect, which makes me nervous. Can any one provide feedback on this unit and if it is a bad idea to rent this way?

There are several different condo complexes on Sapphire Beach. Sapphire Village, Crystal Cove aka Sapphire Bay West, Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, and a small one called Sapphire House. I am guessing you are looking at Crystal Cove but tells us for sure and maybe we can help.

Can someone please give me a side by side comparison of O2 and Sapphire Beach. We a family of 4 adults. "Kids" are 19 & 21. We like a beautiful beach during the day and a sit down dinner at night. We choose the condo-type accommodations primarily for the extra room and the ability to make breakfast in the room. We often chose condos that feel like a resort because we do enjoy the amenities that you get at hotels like a restaurant and/or bar service. Sapphire Beach seems to have the nicer...More
