Cool Place

It was very hot in St. Thomas and this little ice retreat was just what we needed to cool off. The ice carvings were fun and the staff was great.

We were in st Thomas because it was one of the stops on the cruise that we took. We were less than thrilled, after spending over $40 on drinks at different places that weren't even drinkable (such as: rusty corona bottle, dirt and bugs at bottom of cup etc) and if you know anything about it they won't replace this... Great bar with ice sculptures. It was smaller than I thought but enjoyed visit especially the cool atmosphere. This was 1/2 way between cruise ship and beach we visited.

I had an accident while I was there. I fell off the slide and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The called 911 for me, and took me back to the ship and spoke to the shore excursion people. Alice went beyond the call of duty. You are lucky to have her. The ice bar was a lot of fun and... More

Make your way around the corner from Palm Passage, and you'll find Magic Ice. You'll notice it by it's well paved, and welcoming entrance. We were greeted by very friendly staff, who explain the experience, which is great for any age, all ages were enjoying it when we went in. The giant doors make for a grand entrance too! As... More

The concept was fabulous - gorgeous ice sculptures with interesting lighting. Unfortunately, most had melted just a bit and lost much of their character as the edges were softened or gone completely. We could usually determine the original intent of the sculpture, be it dolphin or sea turtle, but much was lost in the translation as a result of melted... More

$22 for less than 15 minutes of obviously old exhibits is more than we could bear. This place is a complete and total let down. The free Cruzan samples were more like sips and a joke. The owner has stopped giving away the free shot glasses without notice so don't go in expecting to receive those. Currently only one room... More

I really wanted to like this place, but I just didn't. A lot of the sculptures were broken or melted, some of them to the point that you couldn't really tell what they were. Several of the humanoid ones were completely missing arms! It was also way smaller than I was expecting. It certainly wasn't big enough to spend thirty... More

Great way to cool off in the scorching heat! Some of the sculptures needed replacing as they looked "melted". They do fly in an ice sculptor from Europe to do this and it was definitely needed when we visited. Kids still had a great time (ages 6-7) and especially loved the ice slide they got to ride. The ice bar... More
