The Legendary Kon Tiki Sightseeing & Beach Cruise is a winner of the 2013 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence! Cruise gently through the beautiful, calm harbor of Charlotte Amalie while sipping complimentary fruit punch and listening to great calypso music, played by a native steel band. Keep cool on the open, shaded lower deck or sunbathe on the upper deck as you pass Bluebeard's Castle, Blackbeard's Castle, and the Governor's Mansion nestled in the mountainside that surrounds the capital.

Passing behind Hassel and Water Islands in flat calm waters, the Kon Tiki pauses over a coral reef where she lowers her glass-bottomed viewers so you can view a variety of coral and tropical fish. The Kon Tiki then beaches herself at a wonderful white sand beach with sparkling turquoise clear waters for at least one hour for you to enjoy swimming, sunbathing and beach combing for shells. Enjoy a fun time on the way back with plenty of barefoot dancing, games, and a limbo contest with a prize for all the winners. A boutique and snack bar are available onboard.

My wife and I were in port one day during our recent NCL cruise on the Escape.. We took the harbor tour and shopping excursion. This was a great way to see the port, city, and get some history while getting to the central shopping district. If you want to shop, find great bargaining and stretch you dollars then this is... We chose this as an optional excursion while on the Viking Star. We were so glad we did. As the boat went around one of the crew narrated some of the sights and histor which was really interesting. Beautiful island and scenery. We then went to Honeymoon Beach for a 1 1/2 hour swim while the boat docked. Great beach.... More

We chose this as our excursion while on the Norwegian Epic Cruise. The boat and crew for this tour is very unique. The boat literally looks like a giant tiki hut that they cruise around St. Thomas in. During the trip the crew opens up the bottom of the boat where you will get an opportunity to see fish, coral,... My wife and I had taken the original Kon Tiki Raft Party in years past and missed it when the old party barge had to be retired. This one is larger and better by a long shot! The staff and steel drum band was awesome! What a great value for the whole family!

We booked this on our HAL ship as we realised we needed some more beach time before the ship headed back to Ft Lauderdale. So glad we did. The craft is large and spacious, clean loos, friendly staff and a great steal band who worked their socks off. There is an open upper deck for Sun junkies. The m.c. Have... More

We opted for this excursion as we've visited St. Thomas many times and this looked like fun. And it was! We stopped at Honeymoon Beach on Water Island for some sun and swimming. The crew was great and informative. We really enjoyed it!

An unusual but very practical vessel! Good and friendly crew and excellent steel band. On way to beach, viewing through the glass bottom of the boat adds interest, then a dip in the Caribbean at active Honeymoon Beach and then music and limbo on way back. Well stocked bar. A very enjoyable 3 hours on an island that has relatively... More

If we could give half points, I would have given this 4.5 out of 5 (see below). The crew/band was very friendly, courteous and tons of fun. We cruised around part of St. Thomas and the guide pointed out some landmarks. We hit the beach for lunch and a bit of swimming. The beach was not crowded which was a... More
