Have been here in the past.....going back many years and it is not what it used to be. In the past there were many stores to chose from, now, not as many. Of course many businesses could not survive the last few years, so sad.
As with any cruise port, know what you want and what a fair price is for that product.
If you do not want to walk or take a taxi into town, then check things out at Havensight.

This mall is located if you fall of the cruiseship. Unfortunately the caribbean is spoiled by this malls. Tons of americans hover from jewellery shop to the next in croc sandals holding their Starbucks paper mugs in hand and think this might be the caribbean. I don't really want to know how much the shop owner laugh, when the stupid tourists are gone again. Most stuff is overpriced and really made for the american market. It's amazing how many shirts with "St Thomas" you can count on this spot... including the Starbucks mugs of course. For us it was a big laugh and we have escaped independently to the nature site of this beautiful island. If you like overpriced tourist stuff which will be tomorrows trash, then yeah go there.

We visited St Thomas as a stop during our cruise and took part in an excursion so we weren’t able to check out too much as far as downtown or other parts of this amazing island, however, there was a mini-mall near the cruise port that had several small shops including those we wanted to hit up downtown.
Our ship got in quite early in the morning and the shops weren’t scheduled to open until 9am, but a few opened early. On our way back from the excursion we stopped through again. So glad this is available right near port for those who go on excursions and run short on time.

Our visit was 2 May 2022 to Caribana 11 ABC before we left the next day home. We stopped by to pick up some duty-free items and ended up getting more than we had anticipated. Prices were good, the young lady was very knowledgeable on what we could take back and boxed it up safely and appropriately so we could take it back on the plane. Four of us brought items back and not one incident or damage bottle when we got home. Store was clean and both staff members were helpful and friendly. We were lucky that day because none of the cruise ships were in port and we could talk and get information we needed to know. The cruise ship was coming in next day and from our villa on top of hill the next morning, I saw the cruise ship come in. If back on the island, I would stop right back here to buy my duty-free. Excellent customer service.

Majestic Jewelers. Bought the cheap version of the silver hook bracelet seen everywhere. Wore it once and realized it was too big. It was so easy to go in and exchange for a smaller size. Sales rep was super helpful and patient even though this was a very small sale that she did not have to exchange. And by the way, after 2 months of wearing the bracelet 24hrs/day, it still looks good.

What few shops were open were not impressive. The jewelry shop staff were pushy and based on our knowledge the stones shown were not so much of a bargain. The residents in the mall were helpful and shared a moment to talk to us about this part of the island.

Tami Pearl Spa….4-5 staff lounging out front .. I went to go to the door and (in Spanish) one girl says to another “he doesn’t like whites girls” referring to a male technician sitting there. Instead of grabbing the door and going in I went and did some shopping. It’s ok to not like anyone else I suppose but super unprofessional and rude to sit outside an establishment talking trash about patrons looking for a service. You have been warned. Good thing I speak Spanish I guess but for those who don’t i wouldn’t spend my money here.

Miner's Gems. They have three locations in the mall and I had a great time visiting all three and collecting their free coins and charms. Bought a lovely tanzanite ring from Deepak in Bld 1 and look forward to taking a cruise to Alaska to buy a matching pendant. Unfortunately my July cruise was cancelled due to Covid. Great stores and very friendly staff!!!

we were there November of 2019 and we purchased a ring and earrings, four stones have fallen out of this ring and I am afraid to wear the earrings so the same doesn't happen. I have tried all means and ways to contact this shop and it is impossible. They promised to send me the appraisal documents in the mail I have not received them. I am currently in the process of sending a contact in St Thomas to go down to this shop at havensight to see what kind of illegal operation they are running.

Many and nice shops, we found many nice items. Many food and drink options, right next to the port. If you are pressed for time, great place to grab some last minute items.

Yes - but it’s pretty patchy. On our last few visits we found the best signal about half way down the main strip (on the right hand side there are some benches) that’s where the strongest signal seems to be.

There are several , I mean prob Ten jewelry/watch stores. I would say Bourchards would be your best bet. They will sell it to you at regular retail price as Apple will not discount their items. You will save on tax. I would check your warranty if purchased outside the US if you live in the US.
